they feel really comfortable on the footbed
These boots appear to be really well made, and on trying on for fit, they feel really comfortable on the footbed, really springy underfoot. But do be aware that these boots really do run big in foot length and width, they are also are long in the leg. I normally buy Hunter, Clarkes, and Hotter always a size 9/43. I did try the boots on with my usual thick ribbed woollen boot hiking socks.I stand 5'6'' tall, calves 18'' at widest. Sadly I had to return this pair of boots at my own cost .....Post Office would be over £13.00 to return .I found Hermes and saved £3.00 on returning .The parcel was collected from me, and insured for £100 included. I really wish they had fit, I live in wellingtons for most of the year, these boots would have fit the job had they have fitted the foot. I was recommended to buy the size 9/43 on the Amazon size guide.

Best boots I have ever purchased
I don't normally do reviews, however I am very impressed with these boots, I work on a farm and over the last 6/7 months I have gone through 3 pairs of boots costing between £20 & £60.These boots come up a little on the large side, but allow for a extra pair of socks, they are very warm, waterproof and very comfortable to wear (I wear mine 8/9 hours a day).I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a pair of daily boots. As you can see from the pictures I am constantly working in muddy/clay paddocks/fields.

So far so good, but lets see if they stand the test of time (as no other makes have)
So far so good. I normally take a UK 10, but 9 fits perfectly. Not the most elegant boot but out of the box it seems well made and very comfortable. Unfortunately, I have thought this many times before with numerous boots, which have not stood the test of time. Used daily for dog walking on clear soil/grass footpaths. The soles generally last ok, but previous boots of other makes have split between the sole and upper part or more often on the upper part behind the toe line, which is very frustrating because the remainder of the boot is in very serviceable good condition. Lets see if those New Zealand sheep farmers can be believed and they last a reasonable time.

Very substantial boots in every respect.
Needed to replace my old wellies which I use for bank and boat trout fishing. Research suggested that these would fit the bill and so I ordered the green Quattro Sport boots but was mistakenly sent the black Quattro boots! However the supplier namely "Shoeshoebedo" responded very well to their error and sent me the correct boots before receiving back my returned boots. The green Quattro Sport boots are slightly longer (maybe an inch or so) in the leg than the basic black Quattro boots and they have an adjustable gusset at the top of the legs. I have size 12 feet (often referred to as 47)in the UK and these are boots are certainly on the large side even for me. However, wearing thicker socks is a decent solution but an 11.5 size would probably have been a better choice. They are very comfortable and warm of that there is no doubt but they are heavy. Each boot weighs 3lb.10 ounces (1630g)! In shallow water wading the sheer nature of the heavy duty soles means your feet are totally protected from the potential hurt of stones which would otherwise be felt through lesser soles. All in all, a very impressive boot without the price tag of some other ridiculously priced boots.

Beware of size, otherwise so far, so very good
Based upon other reviews (thank you all), I took a gamble & ordered one size smaller than usual & the fit was just what I wanted !So far (1 week) these boots have proved very good. They feel very similar to the Hunter Balmoral ('though very much less expensive). They are warm in sub zero temperatures, even with thin socks, and offer good grip on wet grass & muddy swamps alike. Two minor quibbles:The fabric pull tab ripped out its stitches on one of the boots on day two.The closure straps are rather long & the closure tab is rather small making it a minor 'faff' for clumsy digits. However, overall am VERY pleased with this purchase. The big test will be their longevity - gum boot manufacturers seem to have suddenly lost the ability to produce boots that last ( ie a pair of Hunters (£150) that lasted just over 12 months) - I will try & remember to supply an update in due course...

Exceptionally comfortable boots
Excellent product, I walk the dog miles every day in all weathers, I have had expensive brand boots and these are the most comfortable I have had. Agree the size is larger than expected, but a pair of insoles sorted that out. I would certainly recommend and repurchase this item.

Good quality boots but too big
I have given these boots five stars as they seem to be of excellent quality and look as they would last a long time. Sadly I had to return them as they were far too big for my size 6 feet and they do not do a smaller size. Apparently they are unisex sizing so they are for a mans size 6 as well. The company was excellent to deal with and the boots were delivered the next day after ordering.

Seem well made
Not cheap but heavy and well made compared to Hunter they are replacing - can't comment on durability as far too early yet, but so far so good.Fit good, but not quite perfect - instep slightly uncomfortable but will surely bed in - they are at least wide enough across the ball of the foot where most shoes fall down.
