Wireless Microphone Headset, UHF Mic Speaker System for Teaching

One of the main applications for this microphone is attached to an amplifier so that you can freely move around the room and still be heard. The application that I need the microphone for is a little bit different. I enjoy taking videos while on vacation. One of the problems that I have is that if the camera is on a selfie stick it is too far away for the audio to be heard clearly. This microphone solved that problem completely. All I need to do is to put the receiver in the mic/audio jack of the camera and now the microphone is close enough where the audio can be heard clearly. It is really nice that the microphone and transmitter detach from the headset. This way while I'm taking the video it doesn't look like I'm wearing a headset. I can simply clip the microphone to my clothing like a lapel mic and place the transmitter portion inside my shirt.The specifications of the microphone say that it has a range of about 50 m. My house isn't that big so I wasn't able to test that distance. But what I was able to test is from one end of the house to the other through walls and it had absolutely no problem picking up the microphone from that distance.I also tested the volume controls of the microphone itself. And they really do work. Although I can't really see why anyone would set the microphone at the lowest volume. I probably will keep it set at the highest. In that way I get a very clean clear sound.There is not a lot of set up with the microphone. Before I read any of the instructions I simply turned on the receiver and the transmitter, plugged the receiver into a voice recorder and I had it working in less than 15 seconds. I guess I was lucky that it was already paired. I then read the instructions and tried re-pairing the transmitter to the receiver. It didn't take long at all and was very simple.The final test that I did was with a software product called Dragon Naturally Speaking, a dictation software that transcribes what you say. The software does a really good job with one caveat, you have to have a high quality microphone for it to work correctly. I dictated this entire review using the wireless microphone without any problem whatsoever. Now I am not tied to my computer while I dictate.If you need a good quality wireless microphone, this one seems to do the job at a reasonable price.

This is PERFECT to mic my Native American Flute. I just leave the neck piece detached (comes that way) & use a Velcro strap to attach it to the flute. Then bend the mouthpiece of the mic to the end of the flute. Picks up sound beautifully. Charges very quickly. I ordered two - they are rated for more hours than I need but I prefer to have back-ups of critical components. I couple this (wirelessly, of course with an AWESOME rechargeable Yuer BA-10 Pro 10W Busking Amp (which also has great sound for a flute & of course, I also have two of these.) Great combination to add reverb & delay to your Native American Flute playing. Note: The reverb on the amp is in both the mic & instrument channel, but if you also want delay, use the instrument channel for this XIAOKOA UHF12 Wireless Microphone. This will give you BOTH reverb & delay. This combo together is MORE THAN ENOUGH to get your Native American Flute heard in most conditions. (Update #1: I LOVE this set-up so much, I ordered & received my THIRD of these wireless mics so I do not have move them from flute to flute. This way I can have three flutes mic’d-up at one time, ready to pick up & play. As my flute collection grows, I’ll definitely order one or two more of these, again, to have multiple flutes mic’d-up & ready to pick up & play. At the the price of a fast food meal for two – these are a bargain. Skip your burger tomorrow & buy this wireless mic!!! My third mic was faulty – it must have had some kind of a loose connection, because it “crackled” constantly. I did a “Return for the Same Item” today & my new one will arrive tomorrow. I’m not deducting any stars yet for one problem mic out of three. I feel pretty confident it will be fine, if not, I’ll update this review.)

I used it for instructing my fitness class but the volume from the music and sound from the headset was constantly at war. Either the music was too loud and they couldn’t hear instructions or when I turned the volume down for the music the headset volume was also lowered.

I've only had a chance to use it once but it works flawlessly! It came well packaged and was easy to connect the 2 pieces. The microphone arm is long so I was able to keep it away from my face while I taught an indoor cycling class and everyone could still hear me. I like that there is a volume control on the actual microphone too. I had to use that when I started getting a little tired and was breathing heavier lol It did "bounce" a little bit when I did some parts of the class but not enough that I was worried it would fall off. Now I'm wondering if the piece that goes around your head can be adjusted for fit....I'll have to check that out!I will update if anything changes with my experience but so far, so good!

Convenience and comfort rated highly. Sound quality, average, it didn't amplify well even when I turned the amp volume up.My biggest complaint was that the 1/8th inch jack that comes out of the receiver is very weakly attached. I had it inserted into the 1/4 inch adapter so as to fit into my amp. I went to turn on the little switch on the side of it. I held it with one hand and pushed the switch on with the other. A few moments after I couldn't get any voice response, I noticed that I had accidentally broken the receiver from the 1/8th inch jack. After further examining it, I saw that the point where the jack joins the body of the receiver is very weakly constructed, very little material around the base, so that's why it broke so easily.I am getting my money refunded by Amazon, but I won't buy this brand again.

UPDATE: company says they sent me a new one, I never received it. Ugh.Worked great for 4 months, then the adaptor quit working. The receiver and transmitter worked fine. I use this system with a class I teach from home and rarely take the adaptor out of my stereo; so I felt it should have lasted longer than 4 months. I emailed the company twice and still waiting for assistance.

I was over all totally satisfied with my purchase, good sound, good feeling, Good pairing,and the Sturdieness seems to be pretty well. if that changes I'll change my review. it right now I think it's good and I'm happy I give good 5 star review. I get back with you if I should decide to change my review update.I give this one a good one thanks....follow up here it is late December 2019 and it still works I'm still happy with it had to reglue the clasp that holds the headphones to the microphone but that's no problem. That was my fault I'm still totally happy.

Plugged it into multiple computers, it actually worked on my daughters desktop, one of the chromebooks, but not another desktop, or another chromebook. My desktop it didn't work with a front panel port, a back panel port, and finally - what made it work for PC was a cheap $7 USB sound card.A pair of wireless headsets for gaming is like $80. And they don't make any behind-the-neck headsets for PCs anymore. With this I managed to hack together a pair of bluetooth behind the neck headsets, _and_ a microphone via UHF (can you believe that bluetooth doesn't support stereo audio AND a microphone at the same time?!) for my PC.In the end, it cost me about half of what a wireless headset would have cost me, with the added benefit of being able to select whatever wireless bluetooth headset is out there when I need to replace these.

Works perfectly.Everything you need is included in the packaging, the microphone, head band, receiver, charging cable and an adaptor.I used it with a party speaker, so I needed the included adaptor.After turning on the microphone and receiver and pushing the pair button the two devices connected after a few seconds. It worked perfectly.The volume was great and the person using it could be heard clearly.The microphone connects easily on to the head band and is comfortable to wear, and the microphone easily bends to adjust to your mouth position.I moved around the area and it worked from quite a distance away, even in other rooms through walls.I held the microphone in front of the speaker and did not experience and screeching.Once paired, there is a short couple of second delay once you turn on the headset before you can start talking. This is similar to other wireless microphones so not a problem, just something you should be aware of.
