NaturVet Senior Dog Wellness Hip & Joint Advanced Plus - 120 Soft Chews

My 14-year-old German Shepherd does so much better on these, she likes them because they are small and evidently tasty. When I run out and use something else it's really hard for her to get around. I make sure I don't run out of these now! I do give her a double dose of them. She's almost 15, so I figure if it makes her more comfortable they are so worth it. She has never seemed to have any gastro upset with these either!

We foster dogs who have been surrendered to our vet and a few months ago, took in a 10 yr old Golden Retriever/Chow mix. He was stiff and slow, had trouble with the stairs and couldn't get in and out of the car without help. So after some research, we decided to try these chews to see if anything might help. If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it -- within a week he was moving more easily and within two weeks was jumping on the furniture, running up and down the stairs, and trotting everywhere we go. He keeps up with our 3 yr old German Shepherd and has indulged in a few episodes of "counter-surfing" (working on our positive reinforcement....) We also have a 13 yr old Pomeranian who was starting to have trouble getting around, so we've started him on them and have notice a lot of improvement. Getting ready to place our third order -- oh, and neither one of them are fosters anymore -- we're officially a "foster-fail" and made them part of the family. We've tried various other brands of these with some of our other dogs and never had this kind of success, so we're pretty happy.

The product has been perfect up until the last few times. There have been broken pills in the package. We've been using this supplement for our pet a long time though and it has helped her.

I received these lil treats yesterday..... so I can't say my doggy is running like she was when she was younger. What I can tell you is my dog loved them!! I gave 2 chews and was looking for more. I"ll update after 30 days to see if she's running like a spring chicken :-) Well it's been more than 30 days since my last review, i just want to say these are miracle workers. She is running through the house like a spring chicken. We moved into our house in September (which has lots of stairs, unlike our other homes) of last year and i started her on these about December and within a week i saw her moving much faster and better. She's 14 and usually a little slow, but not now! She still loves them as if they are treats!

This stuff helps my dog who was born with only one hip. She's able to jump, run etc. It's helps. It's not a cure but it sure makes a difference.

I have been buying this product for a while with no issues until recently. It is helping my dogs a lot. Lately I've bought 2 packages at a time versus 6 at a time. With the smaller order they are being shipped in flexible plastic envelopes instead of rigid boxes. By the time the product gets to me a good bit of the bag is crumbled up in small pieces or powder instead of in the circles pictured on the package. How much you give your dog is based on the size of the dog....How do you safely measure crumbled up/powdered product for your pet? LOVE the product but not liking how much of it is crumbled up and not available to be properly dosed for my dogs.

I have been using a different brand of joint chew that I ordered with my subscribe and save order every month. My 14 year old dog wasn't happy with the flavor, so I had to disguise it to get her to eat it. Last month I was running low on "hip and joint" chews and saw I wouldn't be re-supplied before I ran out, so I ordered this brand with "next day" delivery to tide me over. WELL...she likes this one a lot, and begs for it as a treat. It is almost identical in ingredients, and works out to be a little cheaper, so I will be switching to this permanently. I haven't used this long enough to see if it actually makes her more mobile than the other brand, but even if it simply performs similarly, I am happy to be able to give her something she actively likes.

My dog loves these and they make a big difference to her. The company is also great to deal with. Recommended.
