Flies LOVE this stuff!
We live in TX and for some reason the flies have been awful in our backyard lately. Never had this many! Fly paper can get messy so we tried this. They work PHENOMENALLY well thus far. Within in the first two days, there were like 40 flies between the 3 traps. Whatever that mixture is, they like it a lot. It smells absolutely rancid, so don't sit directly next to it. But as long as it's a few feet away it's not an issue. Though I suppose the strong smell is what they like, so I really can't complain. My only concern is the reusable factor. I really don't want to dump that smelly soup with dead flies down the sink and have my drain smell awful. And I worry if I dump it in the grass, it'll attract MORE flies. So I'll have to see if I opt to reuse them or just toss them for new ones. But in terms of effectiveness alone, it deserves five stars!!

Highly Effective Outdoor Fly Trap with Minimal Effort
I’ve been using the RESCUE! Disposable Fly Trap for a few weeks now, and it has significantly reduced the number of flies around my backyard. The setup is straightforward: just add water to the bag to activate the bait, hang it at least 20 feet away from living areas, and let it do its job.The trap uses a potent attractant that lures flies into the bag, where they drown in the water. It’s designed to catch common nuisance or filth flies, including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies, and many others. Once the bag is full, you simply dispose of it—no mess or hassle. One thing to note is that the trap emits a strong odor once activated, so it’s best used outdoors and away from areas where people gather.Pros:• Easy to set up and use• Highly effective in attracting and trapping flies• Disposable design eliminates the need for cleaning• Affordable price pointCons:• Strong odor when activated; must be placed away from living spaces

Work Great & Quickly!!
Honest review here… WOW, these traps work great, and very quickly! I purchased them for use on our outdoor porch because the number of flies were horrendous. The trap was super easy to set up, and only took a minute. The quality of the trap is terrific. Although the instructions say that it could take 2 to 5 hours for the trap to start working, it literally started working for me within a few minutes! The packet dissolved within a minute and the flies started going to the trap in droves. I did not immediately, or at any time, notice a bad smell from the contents of the trap, but the flies sure do! I thought this was a terrific deal for 3 traps because they are a good size and will hold a lot of flies. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Work great, but oh the stank!
These do catch A LOT of flies. However, the smell after 3 weeks is not pleasant. I can’t bring myself to toss it, but also don’t want to clean it out. Is it also possible these bring more flies because of the smell? I seem to have several buzzing around me by the pool right now and my dogs and I are very annoyed.

Gotta catch em' all
Got these on May 28th (up a little over a week at the time of writing this review) and put them up that same day. Within a few minutes it had already caught a few flys. They are easy to put together but be forewarned, it smells (which is the point - to attract flys). We have had a few rainy days and I was concerned it would cause the canisters to overfill. That didn't happen which is surprising but not mad about it.Then, the Texas heat does what it does. Some of the water evaporated out so I had to top it off but they are still working great!

Curiosity killed the FLY
These things really work! They're smelly but not as bad as what I thought while reading reviews. I can literally sit out for 5 mins and watch 10 flies get trapped. I am not looking forward to dumping the jar to resuse but they seemed much easier and sturdier than the bags. I'm so grateful to have found and bought this product before my daughters backyard party. *I have it sitting on an outdoor table about 5 ft from the sliding glass door and it isn't too pungent.*

Work great.. you can tell when full
We have been buying these for a couple of years now. The photo is after a little over two weeks now that it has warmed up here in New England. I have three set up. One 35 feet away in a tree notch, one 25 feet behind the garage and one 35 feet away next to the garage in full sun. They smell like a pile of number two or something rotting when full.like you would expect from a pound if dead flies. The active ingrediant is putrescent egg solids..aka..rotten eggs.. they work great.Clean them out and buy the refills

Smells like POOP! But it WORKS!!!
I mixed a packet with water and immediately wondered what I had bought. A packet of poop?! It literally smells like that, but it seems to be working. I just put the three traps out in my yard and they are definitely attracting the flies! The pic was taken45 minutes after I put the traps out
