Did not properly not fit my bulbs or the . I had to get in there with a screwdriver and move the little metal springs around. With the thing unplugged of course. Anyway, needless to say I'd rather pay $3 for a device that works rather than $2 for one that's worth $0.50.I bought an expensive Cooper dimmer switch a while back and it made my (ordinary incandescent) lights pulsate on any setting but full on; I'm disappointed with Cooper Wiring and I'm going to stick to Leviton in future for my domestic wiring and lighting needs.If the medium base light bulb was a new or exotic standard I could forgive Cooper but I think that it's been around for a little while now.

Very low quality, bulbs don't screw in right, takes a lot of force, worried the bulb will fall out. Better to go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy for $3ea

it does what it needs to, i use it in an old lamp base that i put in my well head cover to keep it from freezing in the winter, i wanted two lights instead of one for more power and this works great, i just run a couple of 60w bulbs in it.

If you are getting older and the light in the basement seems dimmer...Screw this into that old socket in the attic and screw in 2 curly Q lights.Try using different color white in each socket. Wow!

This thing is junk. Don't buy it. I screwed a lighbulb into it and the plastic she'll cracked and broke off. The cracknowledge started where the plastic seam is from manufacturing it.

Same problems as the others...poor manufacturing tolerances. Did not work as expected. My local Home Depot has the Leviton brand item for $0.80 less. When will I learn?
