Cry baby!
This is the 1st year I have planted onions from seeds. They sprouted well.Next year I will have a new strategy in how I plant them (the seeds are small and I have old fat fumbling fingers. I can wait to see how big they get and how they taste.

Germination in less than 5 days
I got these seeds in just as I was about to go out of town for the weekend. I threw 6 Texas Grano onion seeds per cell in a 4 cell tray. I just got home 5 days later and several of them have germinated already. I wasn’t expecting that considering the seeds were so cheap. I’m really glad I found good seeds for a good price. UPDATE: A few more days and we have a near 100% germination rate. I made a mistake and didn’t compress the seed starting mix before placing the seeds so when I poured water over them it stirred up all the seeds and coco coir. So some of the seeds may have fallen down deeper into the mix. If I hadn’t done that I’m pretty positive every single one would have germinated evenly.

Seed failure
Do not buy from this company. I ordered two varieties of onion seed for a garden that supplies a food pantry. One had zero germination rate. The other had about 25%. Seen in middle of picture. This caused us to miss the planting window and now have to purchase much more expensive onion sets.

Great germination
I’m pretty sure almost every seed came up and they tasted good too when harvested

These are so reasonable
Just such decent seeds for so darned cheap!! I keep buying from this company and plan to continue doing so. I'm a new gardener but so far everything I've gotten from them has been good. Def worth buying at this price to try I tried before veggies and herbs or see how they grown in your climate etc without spending a fortune. Super happy with this seed company.
