Meh...nothing my the internet couldn't have told me and illustrated. Save your money...no pictures and no real takeaway.
Just Google chocolate truffle recipes...at least those will provide illustrations to help guide you to success

Great way to learn how to.
This book is a good way to learn how to make truffles. The steps are laid out plainly, with a great selection of variations to wonderful recipes. In the beginning of the book, the author explains the different types of truffles and the importance of using am excellent quality chocolate. With recipes based on different chocolates and then variations on those recipes, this beginners guide to making truffles is a brilliant addition to anyone's cookbook collection.

Spend you money on chocolate instead.
If you're looking for a beginners guide for making truffles, I wouldn't spend any money on this 'book' at all. I wouldn't even call it a book. Spend those money on some great chocolates to enjoy instead. I recommend you to buy more expensive books, but great books instead. They will give you a lot more insight on chocolate making. I recommend books from authors like William Curley, Will Torrent, Peter P. Greweling, and Ewald Notter. Their books are for beginners to advance.
