Well Worth the Cost
I love the color first and foremost because it is different, I almost chose the Rose Gold because it is so pretty but: the Seafoam Silver is a nice look without being too flashy. The watch itself deserves 5 stars because it has the look of a traditional watch but; the features of a smartwatch; for me this was a plus since I was having a hard time finding a smart watch that would look good with anything I wear and not like a sports watch. I am not an exercise guru or fanatic I walk to stay active and use the treadmill or exercise bike but; am not one for all the extra so a smartwatch that looks like a sports watch was a turn off. I use it to ensure that I am moving often throughout the day (counting my steps), to monitor my heart rate, stress level and especially my sleep. So this watch keeps track of all of those things through the app you sync it with as well as calories burned and more. The battery life is good it lasts a good 2-3 days before I have to fully charge it, but; I also know that the battery life is according to use. If you allow too many notifications (phone calls, email, text etc.) to come through you may get 2 days instead of 3, but; overall it has a good battery life. It is also very comfortable and to put on and take off.

James bond fitness tracker cleverly disguised as a wrist watch?
Yes, you can buy a smart watch for this price. If you think that, then this hybrid is probably not for you. There are those of us who don't want a mini smartphone on our wrist, this who want a fitness tracker that doesn't have a giant screen and doesn't look like something out of a happy meal.Best thing about this hybrid is it looks like a nice watch (I have the premium one with leather band, but even the sport one looks very nice).Fist thing I did was disable the wrist gesture, so when I lift my arm I look at an analog face to check the time, because to me this is a wrist watch first, fitness tracker second, and notifications is just frosting on top lol Double tap wakes up the screen and let's me scroll through the customizable notifications. Mainly I use the screen to see who the messages are from to judge whether it's important to take my phone out to respond, to me that's very useful.I've gotten many compliments on the watch. It looks nice with formal and casual office attire.Battery life is not as good as on my old Nokia Steel HR, possibly due to HR interval and screen size, still able to go a week on a charge, would like for it to be better.Durability is good, leather band shows some wear, I've had it 2 months wearing basically 24x7. I don't see it falling apart anytime soon, and when it does, the bands are interchangeable, I might even get a rubber one for summer to use around pool/water.I like the charger, it clips onto the watch, easy to use, stays eecire while charging. Didn't like the charger on my old Nokia Steel HR, wasn't very easy to line up the contacts in the base with the watch, took a bit of finagling to get it charging each time. This device works with Garmin Connect, I think it's a pretty good tracking platform. Garmin Connect also syncs with MyFitnessPal for calorie/macro goals etc.Things Garmin could improve: reverse sync of Strava workwouts into Garmin Connect, still having issues with my Zwift rides not syncing from Strava into Garmin Connect automatically. Also I'd like to have a better battery life. My old Nokia Steel HR was able to go 3 weeks on a charge. My biggest annoyance with this product, you'd think they would include an AC plug with the unit for this price, thankfully most of us probably have a bunch of USB chargers from old devices laying around.

It says it needs an app that doesnt exist.
It functions well as a watch, but not for much else. It keeps saying I need to download a simvalleysmartwatch-APP, which does not exist. And when I scan the QR code it takes me to a site that is in an Asian language of some sort that wants me to download things to my phone. When I did it downloaded another program called BTNotification. Which did not fix needing the other app at all.The camera is also upside down, no matter what way I turn my watch, I show up upside down. The sound isnt the best either, everyone was coming in quiet when I called them, or I was top quiet for them to hear even with it right next to my mouth. The reminder also doesnt work to well, no matter what time I set the reminder for, it never went off.I havent had a chance to try out any other features at the moment as it demands a sim card. So will have to get one of those before I can add to this. But other than that it is highly comfortable. Has a clear screen and easy to use.

I love this in lieu of a Fitbit
I owned a FitBit previously but wasn't in love with it. I felt like aesthetically it wasn't pleasing to the eye and the counts weren't as accurate as I wanted them to be, granted I had a gen 2. When I lost the charger to my FitBit I didn't miss it either. So I did some research on a fitness tracker with a more adult feel and finally decided on the Vivomove and I couldn't be happier. I love that you can track "other" activity like yoga, sync it to the app and rename it so that you're accurately logging your physical activity. When I first got it I counted the steps and the tracker is spot on. I really enjoy the sleep and stress insights it provides. I have checked the stress levels throughout different times of the day and saw a connection between my mood and exertion not associated with physical activity. I love that it breaks down my resting calories burned vs activity calories burned to give me an idea of how many calories I burn by just doing me. It also syncs with MyFitnessPal to provide a calories in/out view which is awesome! Overall it's a great purchase. My only complaint is that the watch face is pretty so I'm cautious so I won't scratch it. But I just got a protector and that should eliminate that stress component.

Slick, Light, Good Battery. A good hybrid.
I did a lot of research and knew what I was getting into. The tiny screen is not very sharp, it's black and white, and you can only read the first few words of a message. That's all I needed. I wanted an analog watch with basic fitness tracking and the ability to see my notifications without pulling out my phone. This does the trick perfectly. I've coupled it with a few leather quick release straps and it looks nice enough to wear to the office. You don't get all of the functionality of a full lcd smartwatch, but if that's what you wanted you wouldn't be looking at a hybrid. This seems to be the best of both worlds as of 5.10.18.
