Dakini Lounge: Joshua Prem Remixed

This is not a typical yoga album even though I bought it for the purpose of using it during my yoga classes. The beat is fast, and it's trancey, and it has this techno beat to it. Great for a power or hot yoga class, but definitely not something I would play in a slow flow class. Having said that, I would like to listen to this music that I need a lift. It gets me in the mood, it gets me moving, whether in the car or just working on my computer. It's great music.

I very much like this recording! It was delivered in a timely fashion.

I didnot enjoy this CD. I usually love Prem Joshua--Sky Kisses Earth, Water Down the Ganges and Tales of a Dancing River--loved them. But this one was repetitive and dull. I missed all the exciting changes, rhythms and provacative moods provided by Prem Joshua recordings. This is literally a "lounge around recording".

Did not enjoy the whole cd only a couple of the songs

I am a huge world music fan and I recommend this CD

Prem Joshua has added a new flavor to world music especially with this album. The dramatic vibes slightly dominate the music as he simultaneously retains a sense or sometimes just a hint of peace within each track. The Indian element is fully and constantly retained, but his incorporation of western instruments and style is also heard. His use of the sitar truly adds a sense of mystery as well in some of the tracks, but dominates the mood in every track. The voices add more real and natural elements to the tracks.Prem Joshua definitely portrays the concept of East meets West superbly well.Overall, it's a beautiful album. Definitely add to your collection of new age dance and thought-provoking music.

Very deep, musical journey. One of the best of my collection of electronic music compillations. Very beautiful, I cannot recommend this album enough. I've explored other titles by prem Joshua, but for some reason, they are totally different, and cannot compare to THIS CD. layers upon layers of sound and really chill, very COOL, ethnic, east indian melodies. What can i say, it's one of the best.

I took a chance and purchased it, not knowing whether this album will be worth listening to it; but as it turned out, this CD is worth buying. The mix is profound, mellow; no distortion and no reverbaration.I highly recommend this album to those that are looking for an album that calls for a relaxation, and meditation.

I enjoy this cd, great sounds god for class or just around the house. Grouted westernized but I get in the groove with it
