Some days my kiddo draws pictures and practices letters, or uses these with her dolls during pretend play. I was looking for some party favors for a birthday party for a 7 year old and stumbled across these. At first I was a little iffy because personally I thought they were a bit overpriced but i did end up getting them since they were something a little more substantial than other things I was looking at. We also use the larger sheets of these regularly at my house. They all came individually packaged with the wood stylus attached. They each have 10 pages. They were a hit! I had folks calling me to see if I had extras to sell them since their kids loved them. As with all of this scratch art stuff I try to do at a table or outside since the black top coating is messy when you scratch it off but still not too bad. I would buy these just to have for the kids since I like that they are smaller and spiral bound.

I ordered these for a Kids Day event. The kids like them.

First-grade students enjoyed making creative pictures with these. It was perfect for times at the end of the year when we had a few minutes before heading out to our next activity.
