This two volume Bible Exposition Commentary set, written by Warren W. Wiersbe in 1989, is in exceptionally pristine condition! Other than no dust jackets (which I would just remove anyway), these volumes are brand new. And to be able to purchase them at half price… I am one incredibly happy person.(I have a few individual Bible commentary books by Wiersbe which only cover one book out if the Bible each… they sell for $10-$12 each… being able to buy this 2-volume set that covers the entire New Testament of the Bible is indeed a blessing. Wiersbe only published this in 1989 for the New Testament Bible books. Such a blessing to now own this like-new 2-volume set!)

Dr Wiersbe's Bible Exposition Commentary of the NT is a superb commentary set of the NT. His writing is supremely readable and easy to understand. He discusses many controversial topics that are pertinent to today's society and gives good references for his ideas. Wiersbe teaches from a conservative Scriptural basis, but is not unduly literal. Wiersbe covers an amazing amount of information within these two volumes. I use these more frequently than any other commentary set that I own. He adds history and some lexical analysis where it counts to help the reader understand key Biblical concepts. I currently own these and the BE commentary on the Pentateuch. I can't wait to complete my set.While we use the word "layman" to describe the commentary, it is useful for people of all levels of knowledge and application. I use it frequently in my pursuit of my seminary masters degree.I hope these help illuminate God's Word to His students.God bless you.

Great price for this classic set of books. Warren Wiersbe is a wonderful preacher and Bible teacher. This set replaces a set I previously had and gave to a friend of mine several years ago, who lost his in a flood.

I am so disappointed that only the 1st volume arrived. I paid $120.00!!! 😞

I've read a number of Bible commentaries and have found them to be just "okay." Most commentaries either rehash what you've just read in Scripture or they're boring to read. In fact, I gave up on reading Bible Commentaries because I felt they didn't offer anything I didn't already know, until I ran into Warren Wiersbe's set. I actually purchased it as a gift for someone who had lost portions of their set, and I began to read it. I was impressed! Mr. Wiersbe offers in-depth discussion on the topic at hand and sprinkles it with history, culture, perspective and more, bringing the Scripture to life. His style of writing is very engaging - far from heady or boring. If you've been a Christian for a number of years and are looking for something new and refreshing, this set won't disappoint.

Bible study, great format, easy to follow

Great book for Bible study and understanding the Bible better.

Excellent expository commentary on the New Testament. This is not a commentary with in depth analysis of the Greek text but more emphasis on application of the concepts in scripture for modern Christians. Even though it was written about 30-40 years ago by an excellent bible scholar it is very applicable to today's Christian and quite useful to Bible teachers.

I got only one book, but I thought they are two as shown in the image
