Ambient 1:Music For Airports

I’m keeping it since it is a great album but I got the one disk version not the import two disk version.

Epic fail Amazon! I was looking forward to the 2 LP version with download card but you all blew it big time. So now here I am so I said “listen to it first” so I am and it really sounds great so far!! Not compressed sounds full. The ONLY reason I would keep this is that- the sound. I intend to “chat” with Amazon about this but my hopes aren’t up as they would only say “return it then” sometimes I get very frustrated with customer service. Anyway with 33 rpm only have to flip it once. Did any of you other reviewers listen to it? Yes I feel cheated here. BUT I’ve wanted this on vinyl for a long time. Hi lease let me know if any of you have success getting the 2 LP version. 3 stars for the sound only and for what this LP is

I have always loved this album, and finally purchased it! I am a massage therapist, and use this CD to help my clients to relax deeply. Everyone always asks me, "What is that music, I love it!"

Most of the reviews here state how they ended up with just 1LP at 33.3rpm but I decided to take a chance anyway as this was the cheapest version of this vinyl I could find and I'm glad I did, as I did in fact receive the described 2xLP at 45rpm as of december 2019! I'm not sure what distribution has changed here and why but it seems the description is finally accurate.

This album is perfect background noise. Calming. Idk what else to say. It's perfect.

This is not the half speed master. Do not purchase if looking for the half speed mastered version. Very disappointed as I now have to deal with a return.Edit: It's really odd, because if you search for Brian Eno Ambient, this listing comes up, but if you search for Brian Eno Ambient 1, the pre-order for the real 45 rpm 2xLP shows up. Both listings have our same reviews though. Seems really odd. I went ahead and pre-ordered what I think the real 2xLP half speed master is.Update: I did in fact receive the 2xLP version of this and its amazing. However, I am no longer seeing that listing available on Amazon. It seems like they really managed to mess up these two releases. I've also noticed a few other sites listing the single LP version as the 2xLP as well. Makes me wonder if the issue isnt Amazon's fault...nah.

Sounds beautiful. Probably the definitive edition of this record to pick up that is readily available.

Perfect album

El disco llegó en excelente condición, reproduce sin ruido audible ni saltos. Trae un inserto con una nota muy interesante escrita por Brian Eno. Aunque vinil es el formato en que salió originalmente, me quedé pensando si no sería mejor haberlo comprado en CD para poder disfrutar de las 4 piezas de manera ininterrumpida. Una obra maestra y pionera en su género que no debe faltar en ninguna colección seria.

Great music on this album but I was a little disappointed with the remaster. I guess I was hoping for a quieter record but like the original (and much of Enos ambient albums) the CDs are actually often better.

Great album but came very badly warped and centre hole is cut too small

Read the reviews, people. It is definitely not as advertised. Offering the 1/2 speed mastered 2 album set, but they don’t have it and really couldn’t care less if you want that version. Hassle to return as well. Amazon was kind enough to reimburse what I paid for shipping, otherwise it was on my dime. Super unimpressed.
