The tiny camera has met most of my expectations. The instructions are not written in proper English and are confusing. There is one tiny light that is either red, blue, or purple, and flashes various status code sequences; this is inadequate and confusing. The fixed focus is not good for copying text or other close up work. In normal daylight I took some good photos. Often I found the device in video rather that photo mode, which gave me a lot of unwanted video clips. There are two important setup requirements: the micro SD card must inserted, and there is a setup file called time.txt that should be edited. I have not experimented much with the night vision but under casual observation it seems promising. Overall, it is a good value.

I used this cam about two times to capture work meetings. The camera is small but the video quality is not as great as I expected. I do not know if it was because of the lighting at work (fluorescent lights) or just the camera but the color was off and it would correct itself when it was stationary. When I moved, that is when the coloring would be off. Also, the video quality is not as clear and sharp as other hidden cams I have owned. I will be returning the item.

The media could not be loaded.  I left a negative review earlier because of the time and date stamp, now that I have figured it out all is fine. Bought two units and all are functioning well even the night vision. Don't get thrown off by going back in and checking the factory default on the time and date as I did. Overall, pretty cool unit, but be careful of the clip, it will break off but some super glue will fix that.

It is 1080 and stores on the SD card in .avi format 30 frames/second Mono sound.When I got another video from my Sony Exmor R 11.9 mega pixels SteadyShot HDR-AS30V it looks so much better the video of it.The cam does do good if just the video looked way better. I guess try and look though a little hole with your eye and can know about what this will record video like.-Raymond Day

Very cool.... My boss wouldn't leave me alone at work and I got tired of it.... Thanks to this problem was solved and it's cool going to work.... My boss well let's just say she became an ex boss later on....

I had to return the first one. The second one seems better.I left the first running twice, and it felt warm once I got home. This affected the mechanism for the MicroSD card and it ejected and wouldn't go back in. Fortunately this happened on the last day I could return it...that's a first.I'm not going to chance leaving the second one running.

We liked that it came with the 32G sd card and both adapters to connect to your phone a micro usb and high speed usb c adapter the night lenses are black lights so they cant be seen yet pics and videos are crystal clear also very easy manual to understand

Manual not in Proper English. Hard to figure out if the thing is really turned on or not. To complicated to figure out. Tossing in trash. Buying USA next time.

- I like the 2-in-1 feature of video and voice recorder. This way, you can use the unit based on your needs. Sometimes you may need video. Sometimes you may need only audio. So, it is nice to have this two choices. I like that feature. There is a toggle button that lets you choose if you want to record video or only audio.- I love the rotatable lens. The rotating lens means you can place the recorder on the table facing the room or if you want to carry it in your pocket, rotate it 90 degrees to film whatever is in front of you. This is a cool feature. I like it.- It's always nice to see relevant accessories being included with your electronic gadgets. So, it was nice to see the camera comes with a 32GB microSD card and a microSD to USB car reader. That is very handy if you don't already have those with you. Very thoughtful of the seller to include those in the package.- For nighttime recording, there is a toggle switch that allows you to turn on the infrared light so that the camera can take better videos. Again, it is nice to see this feature included. Sometimes you may not necessarily need night vision and may actually be trying to actually capture the dark. In that situation, keep the infrared off. If you want better clearer video, turn it on. Simple. It is nice to see the night vision is not automatic and that the user actually has a choice. That's great.- Finally, I don't know if the videos are actually 108p HD, but I am happy with the daytime videos. The night videos have a lower image quality obviously but they are good and usable. All in all, the extra features and the accessories make this a good deal overall (I paid $50). Bought this as a gift for a journalist friend and he'll like this camera I think.

It's only black and white :-( sorry its colour with infrared off. Doesnt say that in the instructions.

Neat little "spy" camera here. Night vision works well out to 10ft or so, enough to get a decent picture in the dark. Daytime quality is good considering the size of the camera and lens, it's not a GoPro but it is enough to identify people which is what I needed. These days it pays to be careful and get everything documented, and at this price it just makes sense.

Did some basic tests with lights and motion detection. 3 levels of video quality, high quality looks great.Might need a more rugged casing for outdoor activities but works well outdoors also.
