Amazing Audio CD – CD, October 13, 2009

Great sounding vinyl in a beautiful packaging! My only complaint is that the item description slides to 3 songs that are not present on the vinyl at all; beach house, Romanian, and the strangest thing are not on this vinyl pressing (I wish they were). So for those who really want to listen to the amazing, buy the cd format, which has those songs, plus two more! So again, great sounding record, but I'm disappointed that certain songs were left off.

I saw The Amazing open up for Tame Impala this past November and though they more than held there own against the headlining act. While Gentle Stream is able to match the energy and "magic" of the live performance, the great songs on this cd don't hold up as well as they do when played live. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good disc - but I would recommend their new release, Gentle Stream, over this one!

This order was placed knowing it was a non-commercial (handmade) version. Although many prospective buyers may shun this route what I received was a quality recording completely flawless.

Amazing release from The Amazing, as usual. Highly recommend this album.

I've been trying to hold out for this one to hit emusic but gave up and got it here. What an amazing album!
