Definitely puts out a lot of light. The only thing I wish it was was rechargeable. But the batteries do last plenty long.

Super bright, easily zooms from wide to narrow beam and best of all, uses three AA batteries rather than rechargeables or AAA batteries. It has run for many hours on the first set of batteries with no sign of needing a change. Price is fair if you need a "real" pro quality headlamp.My only gripe is the weight, but it's well made and the batteries account for some of that weight, so it's just a trade off. I have several little light weight units for general use, but when I need a lot of light for repair work or camping, this is the go-to headlamp

This fits my head well and does not slide off; the battery pack in the back seems to balance the lamp in the front well.The light is good for up close, casting light throughout my field of vision and far enough ahead for walking, but it does not have a focusing feature where you can focus it more in the distance. The light is that bluish LED color.The angle adjusts from straight ahead (perpendicular to forehead) to beyond straight down and it stays where you set it.The only real weakness in quality is the battery pack cover. The latch is cheap enough that it will probably fail with edge, and I would not be surprised if the batteries fly out in the event of a shock. It is not waterproof either.The switch feels like high quality and is 100% waterproof. But it is annoying that there is only the one switch, so you have to cycle through the modes just to turn it on or off.

Bright light, adjustable coverage area, dimming, and flashing light options all work as advertised. See through battery compartment cover is a nice feature over other similar products as can easily see if there is any corrosion or moisture accumulating. Headband adjustments work well, unit stays securely in place even when moving around. Most important for me is the product is powered by three AA batteries. Using rechargeable batteries is a device like this just doesn't make sense to me given possibility of usage in conditions where there is no possibility of obtaining electricity for a recharge. This is one of the only remaining headlights I could find that still runs on AA batteries.

Great light that I use on a daily basis. Very bright and comfortable with different zoom options. I like it so much that I have 2 as my wife uses it as well.

Super bright is not how I would describe it. It is OK to start with, and quickly the battery dims. I expected a longer life for it.

Recently had a power failure and found this headlamp a great asset to walk through lightless hallways and staircases.

The on and off switch not malfunctioning correctly all the time, the battery access door tabs snap off. You have to tape it back together to secure the batteries

Very pleased . The light is really powerful .The head can be moved to three different positions. Comfortable to wear, would buy again inspite iof my ppinion that, the instructions could be improvedupon.

Bright, but not particularly comfy over time. Torch itself has bulky overhang, so it feels like your nodding as you walk... wouldn't ride with it on either - but as a cheap and powerful torch, it does its job. 1000 lumens is pushing truthyness somewhat though ;)
