Browne 6 Compartment Mess Tray

yep these are stainless steel solid.. heavy duty. only thing i dont like is the bottom edges are where they curled to create rounded edges instead of a cut.. so they are double layer for 1/4 of an inch all around the edge.. would have been nice if there were no "creases" ie cut and polished at the edge instead of folded under. Size wise they seem to be bigger than I thought.. if i fill the tray's which i tried to do with my kids.. they complain there is too much to eat. They are easy to wash as the inserts are gradual not sharp angles. These stack nice too. A bit pricy, but i have no regrets on the purchase.

Too much money for what you get.....About 2 dollars worth of metal all for the great price of $23.70. I guess I had a brain drain the day I purchased this....

This is the same ones that I grew up with. My dad served 41 yrs in the Navy and I spent 4 yrs on a Helicopter assault ship and I ate with these all the time. I bought this one to go with the one my dad gave me so my brother and I can enjoy them for years to come.

I was in the US ARMY in the 1950's. This tray looks exactly as I remember using in the three years I served.
