Why Not
It's the wonderful Mary Oliver. If you like poetry about flowers or gardens it's what you want. I gave it as a gift to a gardener woman friend. If you are into another aspect of her poetry then go that direction.

Blooming praise
Mary Oliver invites attention, calls forth attending the blossoms along life's way whatever the terrain. As she writes her way into her own wholeness she assures me mine is possible. Being real with gratitude is what the Grand Mystery draws us into if we live awake.

Too Beautiful for Words
As so often happens after finishing a Mary Oliver book, I have no words. Or maybe it's more that I have words but they seem so insignificant. The only word I can think of is ineffable. However, the roses in my back garden have begun to bloom. Those are the only words I have.On a practical note, several of these poems you will have read in some earlier books. It doesn't diminish the volume in any way.
