Bought one for the RV doorway. I was skeptical of solar LED lighting - but this product has so far exceeded my expectations that I'm taking the time to write my 1st amazon review. They stick well and can take being bounced around when the RV travels. As dusk it automatically turns on and provides just enough light to be able to see what you're doing - without bothering your neighbors. When the sensor detects motion it shines a surprisingly bright beam for a minute. This thing just works flawlessly with no effort to set it up. AWESOME product.

Really cool solar light! I'm using mine right infront of my garage. For some reason the home we rent, the light bulbs always burn out and are hard to change out. Now that I have this awesome solar light I don't need to worry about replacing costly and difficult to change bulbs. The light is super bright. I live in Florida so there is no shortage of sunlight. The light took no time at all to install. It has a sticky strip on the back. I attached it to my garage door by removing the backing of the tape. The light also comes with a couple of screws to mount it more securely. The panel that absorbs the sunlight is on the top and the light is on the bottom. You will need to activate the on/off switch by sticking a metal pin into the designated slot (pin included). The light has a long battery life. Once charged, my light stay illuminated from 8pm till the sun comes up. I highly recommend this product. So easy to install, long battery life and cuts down on electricity use. Win, win all around!

Originally I purchased two of these, one to light up my pool equipment area at night, and the other for my driveway. A few years ago I bought a similar device from Swiftly Done - but the light is not a bright as I like. These ones from SolarBlaze are much brighter and I like the fact that they are always on low until motion is detected. Someone ran into my driveway garage door last Christmas which is why I purchased the new Solar Blaze motion lights. I like that they are very bright and am hoping that if someone is driving it will help them see the drive way garage door and not bang into it. I just bought 2 more this week. I'm going to put up a third light on my driveway - 3 car driveway - to further light the area. I am even considering buying a third to put on my garage door as well. The second new light I purchased this week is going to be for my back fence area to light up the path from the driveway to the fence door.At first I was confused as to why my light was not working so I reread the common questions area here on amazon. You have to put a small paperclip into the hole on the front to turn the light on. It will turn on when it is turned on with the paperclip. Then it is on always starting at dusk on low - unless it was overcast that day. But usually there is sufficient light for it to be always on.Since I didn't want to drill holes into the siding of my garage, I used the tape which peels off of the back of the device. Press for a while and up it is stuck hopefully forever.

My husband didn't understand why I bought this. He thought that it wouldn't serve the purpose I intended to be by the trashcans outside to illuminate late night trash taking out. He rolled his eyes and hung it up anyway. Stuck great to our brick so far. It has a dim light on when it's dark and illuminates the space for our needs when we walk to the trashcans. It's been up 2 weeks and we have had zero issues! My husband now wants to buy more! As I'm writing this, I see there is a lightning sale on them, so maybe I'll surprise him with a few more :)Will update if our opinion of the product changes, but so far we are very pleased!EDIT: 2 years later (2019) and we still love this light!

Well, it lasted just over a month.At first I really liked it - the light was bright enough, and the motion sensor had the specified range. Then we had a week of cloudy skies. My walkway solar lights were dim, but the Solarblaze was still on. Cool! BUT THEN a couple of days later the light failed. OK, needs recharge. NBD. A bright day later and my walkway lights were back to full power - but the Solarblaze was still nonfunctional. OK, most likely the rechargeable battery is dead - can I replace it with one of my rechargeable AAs or some other store bought rechargeable battery type? Nope - it is a specialized battery. Extra exposure to light did not help. Still dead.So I guess I am in search of another motion sensor light.Hopefully I can find one that I can replace the battery in it if needed....

Wow -- is this light bright!! It's exactly what I wanted, and seems to be adhering to the brick on my house very well. I'm quite pleased.

I bought six of them, two at a time. They were all fine for awhile. Three of them are not working. One works if I reset it with the pin every few days. The other two will not work at all. Please advise.Update: the company sent me two new ones. Most of the lights work now as motion detectors. None of them work as dusk to dawn lighting. When they work they are bright. When they do not work nothing happens.I updated to three stars. Would love to make it five stars but cannot do it.

PLEASE, take my advice & don't waste your time! I didn't want to give any stars, but had to give at least 1 to be able to post this review ! We live in a desert area in New Mexico & parts of the property get very dark at night. Running wire to those areas to provide light, was not an option, so you can imagine how excited I was when I found these solar lights ! I purchased 4 right from the start & they worked fantastic.....fantastic that is for about a WEEK ! Direct sunshine is not a problem here in the desert, so nothing was in the was to interfere with their charging, but day by day they started losing their energy & their hours of operation went from all night to about 2 hours. I paid almost $75 for the 4 solar lights & the worst part, or maybe the best part is, my Husband came home one day, with the same type solar light, from a local store, and he only paid $5 ! That $5 light is still going strong ! Don't waste your time, check out your local dollar stores!
