NO Holes License Plate Bracket for The Mini Cooper (R Models up to 2014) **Will NOT FIT F55/ F56/ F57, Countryman, Clubman or Paceman Models** No Drill Front Tow Hook License Plate Mount

I like it. All the parts seem to be stainless steel like the ad suggests. I am glad that I went with this over the iJDMTOY brand, as those are made from Aluminum and have the ability to rust. Though this was a big pricey compared to the iJDMTOY (currently $37.99), I decided to go with the more professional looking set up. I received the product very quickly via Priority mail. I just purchased an '03 Mini Cooper S and was pulled over driving from Seattle, WA to Spokane, WA for not having a front plate. I was eager to put it on to avoid getting pulled over again on the highway making the trip back and forth.First off, the parts feel very nice. Everything is machined well with the proper Allen Key to mount the nuts. However, since included are locking nuts, you need to have a 10mm on standby to tighten it. The instructions are very hard to follow. I wish that GMG Motorsports included a more detailed instruction guide with photos. I ended up installing it wrong the first time since I was "Gungho" about doing it myself.After taking it off, I reinstalled using the directions. I would suggest these as some tips:Put on the Towhook Adapter First. Then install pieces one by one onto that, if you try and install everything together and then spin on the entire assembly onto the Towhook, your license place will be stuck hitting into your bumper.I wish that the adapter wasn't so long as well. There is about 2" between the plate and the bumper. While I don't want it rubbing off, I wish that it just sat a little closer in order to close out the gap between.Overall, very happy. I feel it is better to pay the extra money to get something that I know is made with quality parts. I wish there were better instructions to follow, but it's easy to assemble by yourself as well. Overall, happy that I went with this, and hopefully I won't be pulled over again!(I will be adding photos soon)

I am very pleased with this front license plate bracket for my 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible. It is well made and sturdy. All the parts are stainless steel and it is easy to assemble. I do however have some assembly tips to add to the otherwise excellent Instructions that come in the packaging. These tips will make the front license plate easy to remove using no tools for automatic car wash use, etc. 1) Tighten the tow hook adapter bolt pretty firmly into the bumper hole with a 19mm wrench. 2) Attached the front license plate bracket with the provided bolt and lock washer using enough of the provided spacers and/or washers so that the license plate will clear the bumper when you spin it off. In my case with the 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible, I used a single spacer and all 4 washers. 3) Tighten the license plate bracket bolt with lock washer using a 19mm wrench as tightly as you can into the tow hook adapter bolt with the license plate bracket angled slightly lower on the driver side. 4) Loosen the tow hook adapter bolt using a 19mm wrench so that the whole assembly spins off easily. 5) Tighten the tow hook adapter bolt again by hand using the license plate braket until it is just snug. 6) Check to be sure that the license plate bracket is level (if you angled the license plate bracket slightly lower on the driver side in step 3, the license plate bracket should now be level). 7) Continue with the rest of your installation. 8) Now that your installation is complete, you should be able to spin your front license plate assembly on and off easily by hand as you need it.

Fits quite well on my 2011 Mini Cooper S R56 and the material quality is top notch. I don't anticipate being it ever rusting or falling apart. My only complaints are that it seems to sick out further from the bumper than necessary and too many small parts that would make it too complicated to remove in the event you would need to use the tow hook attachment. It would make sense to make a quick release feature do you wouldn't need several tools to remove it during a roadside emergency. But for the price, I highly recommend this as it gives my car a very minimalist yet custom look.

I was blown away by the quality and ease of installation of this product. Fit my car perfectly, easy to understand installation instructions, looks great on car. Highly recommend!

After having received a "fix-it" ticket for not displaying a front license plate, I wanted to find a way to be compliant but not drill holes in my front bumper. This bracket was fairly easy to install and will work for me. When installed, the bracket is positioned about 1 1/2 inches out from the front bumper (which seemed a little more than I would like) but I know it will not be scratching or rubbing the paint on the bumper. My only concern is that it is recommended that the bracket be removed before taking the car through a car wash. That will be a hassle I would rather avoid.

Hey Folks,I Purchased and return this product due to a few issues of overall fit. I was charged a restock fee of $9.95 ,which in today's world seems of ancient times. Yes it was in their product info but gently hidden.Being customer centric in todays economy should be a core value for all business. This seems to be a challenge here.Countrymen owner

My 2013 Mini Cooper S doesn't have a predefined spot for a license plate on the front bumper. When I picked up my plates from the dealership, they wanted to just drill a couple of screws into the bumper. I drove around for a while without a front license plate, but I knew I needed to add it soon as I can only be lucky not to be pulled over for a missing front license plate for so long. The install was very simple. I've had it installed for 4 months now and it's still as solid as it was on day 1. I'd highly recommend this to any Mini Cooper owners out there.
