Threadart Polyester Machine Embroidery Thread By the Spool - No. 441 - Dark Navy - 1000M - 40wt - 220 Colors Available

I thought I was buying the 6000 yard spool and was shocked when the spool arrived, Way too expensive for the small amount you receive. My mistake, but don't make the same one. This is not a good buy and costs more than 3 times what it should.

The reason I bought this on Amazon and not threadart was because I wanted to test the strength before buying a bundle and wasting money. It was just as strong as the $5.99 40wt embroidery thread from the quilt shop. The only down side is there is no hook or snap base to stop the thread from unrolling from spool. You’ll need to purchase the thread bands for each spool and they are $13.99 for 40 of them. Still a deal

Great thread. I have a standard sewing/embroidery machine without a spindle to accomodate this size thread spool. However, I have an add-on freestanding thread spool with a thread loop that extends 2-3" above the threading area of my machine. This thread, using the freestanding thread holder works great. It is economical and a great product for my machine embroidery projects.

Small for the price. If you buy it from Thread-art directly, will cost you 1.50 but have to pay for shipping. They are charging 3.99 here, not the best choice for online purchase

Great embroidery thread! No breakage or fraying unless my needle burrs & needs changed. I have over 150 beautiful colors from this company as well as bobbin thread, no complaints!

Used it to embroider my name on my work shirts. Worked perfectly. I thought I would go thru it quickly but the spool still looks full and new. The hole on top was too big for my machine and the adapter I have for spools with larger holes was too big. I just drilled out the top a little and now adapter fits perfectly. Will buy again when or if I ever run out.

I was a little bit on doubt, specially after seeing that the thread was a little bit thinner than the normal one, but it worked so nice and smooth on the Singer sewing machine. Definitely buying more next time!

I use this for machine embroidery. It works okay, but is very slippery. I prefer Brothread, but it is not available in single colors so Threadart is the next best thread I have found. Will continue to purchase.
