Handy little card reader.
Installs easily. Simple to use. Great way to review my car camera’s video when out on the road. I can connect it to my phone for review. It also gives me the ability to save and email the video if needed.I am very happy with this little gadget. The small size makes it very convenient.

An affordable way to transfer files and keep them close and safe
I have a lot of files that I use from week to week, and the fear is that they won't be handy when needed. This allows me to safely transfer my files and keep them close. It's also a great way to make sure you're able to back-up files easily by connecting an SD card or thumb drive.Great value. Comes in handy.

Remarkably Fast and a Great Price
I needed additional data storage in a hurry when I had to immediately start working from home so ordered two USB card readers along with additional SD cards from Amazon. Both were dual-sided 2.0 readers that can read standard or mini-SDs compatible with standard A-port devices. The difference between them lay in that one also fits a mini-USB/B-type port while the second end of the other is for a C-port at one end, and for A-ports at the other. These readers are ostensibly produced by two different manufacturers, called “GoBlown” in the case of the one with the C-type port compatibility. The company that sells the other is called “Dukelo.” I'm writing about both in a single commentary because I have no doubt that both come out of the same factory. Their packaging is absolutely identical down to descriptions on the outside of these packages with the exception of one indicating its C-type fitting. Neither product has a manufacturers name printed on it; the one with mini-USB compatibility having merely a very small adhesive label including the name “GoBlown” discretely adhered to it on the lower-right corner of the package. The one from “Dukelo” has no brand name on it anywhere on the packaging or the device itself; its branding appears only on its Amazon retail page. These are other indicators – the shape of each is also identical though one is a bit larger in size – that leave no doubt about their common origins, probably outsourced to the same factory in East Asia by two distinct companies; perhaps different subsidiaries of the same firm, producing the same products under different names. Comparisons of them are thus entirely justified in my judgment. The most note-worthy feature of both is that they are much faster in reading and transferring data than I ever would have expected from 2.0 devices. Both were recognized and opened virtually instantly when plugged into my laptops. More surprising still was how large files could be added to them with remarkable speed; I never expected this from a 2.0 USB card reader. I made a point of testing both with USB and mini-USB cards, in Type-A, B and C ports, and on a couple of different devices of varying quality and age: the older, mid-grade laptop I use for work, my super-powered, newest one that I play my high-end games and do most of my personal stuff on, and a pretty new desktop that sits in the home-office most of the time and that I let my young relatives use when they visit. Every test gave the same result – immediate recognition, fast transfers, no glitches or delays. I was pleasantly surprised by these results, all the more so given the modest retail prices asked for these readers. I'd strongly recommend both or either to anybody looking for this type of product.

Good way to transfer files between devices without relying on the internet
For various reasons, from a lack of internet access to the phasing out older devices, you sometimes want to move files/data/photos around using a method that is more "old school".This little gadget is an inexpensive, user-friendly way to move information from cell phone to camera to laptop to desktop to digital picture frame, then back again without any need to access cloud drives.Personally, I use this card reader/writer to review, edit, and delete trail cam footage using its micro SD card with my desktop or laptop, while the camera continues recording on another card.Since it includes a type C plug I can also use it to move files off and on my smartphone. On everything I plugged it into this functioned like any plug and play device, with no troubles reading, writing, or recognizing the storage card.As many of us expand and diversify our collections of electronics, moving things like photos and documents around can be frustrating and/or time consuming.Pairing this with SD and/or micro SD cards gives you a quick and painless way to get all your devices, with all their different ports, to share information.Having already found mine handy, I definitely recommend this card reader/writer to any individual, family, or office with a variety of electronics and an interest in expanding your options for moving information between devices.

It works as expected for the price
This has to be one of the cheapest feeling USB device I've used, but at $7, I'm not complaining. It's easily recognized by my computer and easy to start transferring files without any hiccups. The only negative thing worth mentioning is the transfer speed: I couldn't get more than 16 MB/s out of this on a full size SD card, and no more than 11 MB/s on a micro sd card, so it definitely doesn't seem to be a full 2.0 speed device, but if you're looking for something this cheap, then that probably isn't a dealbreaker. If you want something as cheap as possible thats able to read SD and Micro SD cards on your computer/older android phone, then this'll do the job. If you regularly transfer files and want to do it faster, theres plenty of better, more expensive USB card readers out there.
