Super thin mesh. Had holes in the mesh material as though it had been used, or just poorly made. I returned it, and bought the Shatex 90% Shade Fabric Sun Shade Cloth with Grommets for Pergola Cover Canopy 6' x 10', Black for the same price as this cheapo shade cloth I returned. The Shatex is a super heavy duty material. Quality product in my opinion.

Unevenly made with weirdly spaced grommets. There are groups of 3 grommets near each other, then a long distance, then 2 grommets next to each other. I don’t know if someone bought it, added more grommets, and then returned it, but it’s not a nice product. Also it’s smaller than advertised. The HomeABC shade cloth is listed as having the same dimensions, but that one hangs a good 6 inches longer than this one. I’m gonna replace this with another from the other seller.

When we received it was worried it was going to not be able to stand up to weather and wind. Figured we would give it a try and see. Pleasantly surprised. We wanted to block some sun on our patio, We can still see through it and it does cut the suns rays. We get some pretty good wind and was afraid it wouldn't be able to handle it, The day after we put it up had a very windy rainy storm(places under the patio that usually doesn't get rain was very wet) The Shade Cloth held up with no problems.

Ordered two.....the first one opened had a whole in the netting at the edge of the black plastic. Some one stitched the outside closest to the black plastic with green stitching. The whole was probley 4 to 5 inches long. I didn't open the other one, just sent both back.

High quality product.It 's really strong and durable.Easy to use.This is nice and a good size, with lots of grommets and the sun net stopped the turf from burning & my flowers.70% sunblock was described accurately.The bonus "bungee balls" worked great in keeping the cloth in place.I am very pleased and think it's a good value for the money.

I bought some Agfabric shade cloth before, and I wanted to buy some more, but the size I wanted was out of stock. So I bought smartelf and was very disappointed with the quality. It says it blocks out 70% of the light, but it is clearly more sure than the ag fabric. I posted some photos. The trim is a much lower quality than the Agfabric, and there are about half as many grommet holes. So disappointing! I needed this size (6‘ x 10’), so I am not returning it because I can’t find that size anywhere else. But I am disappointed.

This didn't fit the purpose we bought it for - as a shield to keep our dogs from seeing the squirrels from the patio doors. The material is very thin and see through so it obviously didn't work. BUT with that said, the material un raveled from the edge seam when we took it out of the package. We never installed it 1) the material was un raveling and 2) it was see through. With the wind we have had lately the material would have shreaded....the description on Amazon was misleading...

I have 2 shatex 90% shade walls for my 12’ canopy. We purchased a bigger 20’ canopy and wanted a shade wall for it. Shatex shade walls are completely out of stock everywhere so I ordered this one thinking it might be some what similar. It’s not even close to the quality of a shatex shade wall. These are just black mesh walls. No where near the 90% shade rating of a shatex wall. It may be 50% but that may even be a bit of a stretch.

Great cheap solution as external sun shade curtain for patio doors. Cuts out most of sun and heat before it hits windows and keeps room cool. Lightweight plastic fabric material which does the job much better than we had hoped. Only question is how long it will last and whether the holes will rip over time, or if pulled. Buying more sizes for other windows now.

Mesh is pretty transparent so I doubt it has 90% UV protection. It has around 70% shade.Grommets are not apart the same on both sides, so they are not aligned if you fold the mesh in half.Mesh is also wider on one side than the other when you fold it, so it is not exactly 10ft x 10ft.I need it so I won't return it but pretty disappointed :(
