GFI Software VIPRE AV 2012 - 1PC 1 Year [Old Version]

I've been using VIPRE for my small business network of 5 PCs for the last 3 1/2 years. Have had great luck with the software. The 2012 version is a bit heavier than previous versions but still runs far better than Norton or Kaspersky ever did on any of my systems. I'm not sure what the user with the 1 star rating did wrong but I have a thinkpad and this software works with all the thinkpad utilities no problem. I've yet to have it cause any wireless issues on any of the systems using wireless. I still recommend this software to family and friends.

I DID MY RESEARCH AND THIS ACCORDING BECAUSE I HAD A DIFFERENT ANTI VIRUS THAT USED TO BE NUMBER ONE, BUT ACCORDING TO REVIEWS THIS IS NOW NUMBER ONE. IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL I AM USING IT NOW, AND COMPARED TO MY OTHER ANTI VIRUS IT TELLS ME HOW MAY TROJANS IT HAS BLOCKED. I HAVE NOT HAD IT LONG BUT ITS BEEN GREAT AND I HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO MY FAMILY.

I purchased Vipre antivirus software for the first time last year, 2011. I was pleased it did not slow down my computer compared to other antivirus software I have used. I loved it last year and so far it has been great this year. I would highly recommend it.

This program, VIPE 2012 Antivrus, is a disaster for many users (see the VIPRE user forums). It disables the computer's wireless function (which in my case required a hard drive restoration), easily locks up the computer, and at best makes it run very slowly. It also cannot be used with Malwarebytes, the best program for stopping malicious programs (all of which get past VIPRE), and it cannot be used with certain Lenovo Thinkpad built-in utilities.The previous VIPRE 4x version worked just fine. However, if you use this program is constantly hounds you to upgrade, which leads you to the 2012 problem. Updating thedefinitions therefore entails a complicated download/save procedure, which is a real nuisance.AVOID this program.

Have been using this antivirus for 2 yrs and have bought another one. Haven't had a virus yet like I did with McAfee and Norton. The support group is reliable and easy to work with also.

This Antivirus was recommended by one of our IT guys at work -- our company uses the Pro version.So far it's been great. Keeps my PC safe and hardly know it's there. Really love it!

Get this license, then download the most recent one as a trial, and then use the same license number, it worked fine for me.

works great , ive been using vipre on all of my comps for 4 years now and never had a problem or virus. doesnt slow old comps either. great product!!!!!
