Eco Pet Bedding, 1.5 lb, Pink

I have a love hate relationship with this stuff. I'd prefer colors other than pink, but lately it's been very difficult to find this stuff, so I'll take what I can get. The rats don't really care about the color anyway. This fluffs up nicely and they like to dig around in it and fill their hideys with it, so they seem to enjoy it. It does, however, tend to get everywhere, and is kind of a pain to clean up from carpet. Also, I have no idea why the prices keep going up for this stuff. It's just shredded, crinkled paper, and you'd think with some of these sellers that they are selling gold leaf. This is my choice, but only when I can get it at a decent price and as long as it's not the "odor control" stuff which isn't good for rats.

My rats LOVE this stuff! We use fleece as bedding, but throw a handful or two of this in each cage with each cleaning, and they make good use of it! It'll be everywhere before they're done with it, including their Hut, the litter box ... all over the cage.

It's okay.Pros: very cute, has no odor, and is very light. Makes for a cute addition on top of existing substrate!Cons: produces very little substrate (I have a 55 gallon long tank and it made about an inch of substrate), will do nothing for odor control, and won't last long as my hammy is very messy.If you already have substrate in your tank/cage, it'll look cute on top, and your pet will appreciate it! Mocha is greedy for bedding and loves anything new in her tank. She came out of sleep, rolled around in it, then went back to bed. Will buy again.

My larger birds love this as bedding. My finch loves it as nesting material. My budgies love to have this stuffed inside their toys, so that they spend all day trying to get it out. So, this awesome crinkle bedding has many uses.

My hamster loved this stuff! She loves to burrow around in it and it’s light enough that she can move it around fairly easily. We use it for our rats as well and they seem to appreciate it too. Dust free!

It’s cute and fun, but over priced. Good for very small animals. I bought it for a rabbit that is litter trained for bedding. It was only enough for two full cage cleaning.

I bought this bedding because it’s pink- duh. But i also thought that it would be a softer fluffier bedding! Well it’s not, it’s extremely hard like shredded construction paper. I’m about to get a paper cut handling it! We had to mix it up with some cute mutlicolored bedding and it works now, but completely alone- No! i would hate to live on that scratchy bedding-i can’t let my hamster roll around on that all day and night!

Used for bedding in a double critter nation - the girls love making a mess of it and distributing it throughout the cage, which I don't mind.
