Calypso Basics by Reston Lloyd Powder Coated Enameled Colander, 1.5 Quart, Lemon

Love it! Perfect for small jobs like a few berries at a time. The yellow is such a great color. Decorative even when empty. Pretty strudy.

I ordered three different sizes in three different colors. The colors are nice and the quality of the strainer is good. But I'm being careful not to scratch them with metal.

This was a gift to my mother as a replacement for her old strainer. Her existing porcelain strainer was very old and worn. She loves this replacement. She is hard to please so this is a great product since she likes it.

This is a handy strainer. but when I was a LOT younger and hadn't had this lesson to learn from, I ruined one of these by using it as a steamer. That enamel will not hold up to intense heat, it will discolor and eventually rust. But I learned and this is my plan, to hand wash it for the most part. I love the base, will stand without problem in the sink. The main reason I bought this other than I loved the style and I like the orange color. it's a good halfway orange, doesn't lean to yellow or red. ( I'm picky *L*) it's sturdy and It will no doubt last for years, as I have multiple steamer types and won't be tempted. but for now, it's a fruit bowl *L*

Love this it’s pretty and just what I needed

I loved the size of this colander and the tall foot, but the quality control seems to be lacking.I have only used it two times, and noticed the last time that it is showing rust on the underside and at the connection between the bowl base and the foot. It appears the enamel coating was not complete in these locations, allowing water in.I don't usually write reviews unless it's to give 5 stars, but for the cost I thought others should know. Of course I noticed the rust 4 days outside the Amazon return window, so I reached out to the manufacturer and received this response verbatim:"I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to refund or replace any items purchased through Amazon, per company policy. Apologies." A disappointing response especially since I bought it from their own storefront on Amazon, not a third party seller. I'm kicking myself for spending extra and trying to find something quality from an American company, when moreoften than not the result is a lack of customer service and poor quality control, especially when I have had the experience of buying products from an overseas company on Amazon and having their customer service go above and beyond without question. Now I'm stuck with a rusty, not food-safe $40 colander that's going straight to the recycling bin, and I won't be buying from this company again.

The picture to the right is the 1.5 Qt. Colander by Reston Lloyd to the left is the 3 QT by Now design. Both say turquoise. The one to the left is the color I wanted but the quality of Reston Lloyd is much more heavy duty!

What a great addition to my kitchen. It is so very well made and such a pretty color. Very sturdy & works great. I am very satisfied with it.

This is much more hefty than our last colander, I love it! Smaller than I thought but it works for what we need it for. I love the colour, I have it everywhere in our kitchen

Works well for washing small servings of fruit or vegetables. Glad to have it as a “go to”!

I love the colour and the size however it is a bit overpriced
