Outstanding book full of important history

My wife is one of these people depicted in the book, even down to the trucks that brought her out here to Arizona at age 6, 70 years ago. Very, very accurate. Her cousin, we discovered when visiting him, was one of the contractors bringing Blacks out to the cotton fields because, believe it or not, there were not that many Hispanics in AZ at that time. We intend to follow up with communication with the author and trips down to those desert towns (we already made one and my wife cried most of the time remembering how tough it was) to talk to some of the many people she designates as old timers who know the area and its history. Full circle: our son-in-law now works as a teacher in Stanfield, one of those towns. It's as poor now as it was then.

This book is about MY Family, aunts, uncles, grandma and more, this book tells you where your family came from and what went through. I'm thankful for my family.Trina Sells

Very pleased with my purchase

I purchased this book because my moms house is on the front and on the inside. Her church is also inside.I have heard many great stories of Randolf Arizona.This book has alot of memories for my mom. I will cherish it.

I happen to be part of one of the families discussed in this book. I found it to be quite nice. I wasn't mentioned in the book but my mother, grandma, granpa etc. was. I think Geta did a fabulous job in making this book a success!
