The Best of Andrae

Andrae Crouch's music is the best gospel of the past. It is inspiring and unique. When I was a little girl, my mother would play his music in our home. Jesus is truly the answer for the world today. I have purchased this CD over and over for my friends and family members. Everyone needs encouragement these days!

Andrae Crouch is at the very top of my most-loved gospel artists, and that's why I ordered this CD as well as the one entitled "History Makers," The songs on the "History Makers" CD were truly history-makers, and they had that "Andrea upbeat rhythm" when he plays the piano. When I listen to "History Makers" CD, it brings tears to my eyes. That's just how good it is. This CD, "The Best of Andrea," has four songs that don't sound much like "Andrea music" or have his special rhythmic beat. It would have been better if "Soon and Very Soon" and also "The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power" could have been substituted instead.

this cd is great! when i was sick with anxiety, the soulful and inspirational sounds of andre and his choir helped me get better. i listened to it everyday and i still do. this is real music-gospel music, not kirk franklin type music and this new gospel entertainment music. it really uplifts you which gospel music is supposed to do. the songs "take me back" to my wonderful childhood when i was in choirs and my family was in choirs at our church. everyone who listens to my cd ends up purchasing it because that's how good it is. they say, where you get that cd from? it has real lyrics for personal real life stuff that will give you hope when all else fails. it reminds you of how good God is and will have you seeking Jesus and what he can do for you. get it! you won't regret it!

I had his original album and cassette tape as well as the music, but I gave it all away for others to be blessed by it. When I'm in the need of hearing his message in song I go to Youtube, but sometimes the quality is so bad that I decided to purchase it again. I love it! I can listen to it all day long. The messages are clear, helpful, and uplifting. I am going to repurchase more of his albums and the Gaithers' as well.

This I haven't listened to as of yet and can't say I will. I purchased this to add as a collectors CD. I love Mr. crouch music and feel like he was one of the greatest legendary gospel mouth pieces during his reign. So I'll keep this just as it is, sealed and in its original packaging. Who knows I may purchase another one to add to my play list.

Andre's music was a big part of my youth and his music never fails to inspire.

I saw you in Eureka or Redding, California in 1976 or '77 - I was soooo strung out on drugs at that time. It's amazing that I remember your performance because I had just 'shot a bunch of dope' prior to your performance. I continued to buy and listen to your music until the present. I feel a real connection to your band as I continued to listen to you throughout all my drug years. I have been 'drug free' since May 4, 1989 and I am so honored that you and Sondra spent time worshipping with my brother and his wife, David & Laurie Morris, in southern California in 2002 while he was receiving cancer treatment. I saw Andrae Crouch & The Disciplines live in concert when I was in high school back in the 70's. At that time I bought "The Best of Andrae" album and memorized every song. After Andrae Crouch passed away recently, I found the DVD on Amazon.com and bought it for old times sake. Oh my!! The great memories came flooding back. His music is phenomenal and he was such a blessing!! Heaven is richer today! :)

I had heard of Andre Crouch, but not actually heard his music. Well I/ve been mising out big time.With 20 tracks, all great quality Gospel songs, mostly studio recordings and a few in concert, this is one to keep.Best song, Jesus Is The Answer. Highly recommended.

Love this CD - i bought this a while back and it helped me get through some troubled times. When i hear his voice its like a father that i always wanted - he is peaceful, loving and kind and has the heart of Jesus and it reflects in the music. By the way im in my 30s and not sure how i heard about Andre originally, but i think it might have been from a song on the radio that they played when i was in Atlanta and i was like i have to get this guys music.

AWW this album took me back to the late seventies early eighties and hearing choirs sing some of these! Andre creates a truly personlaised worship experience that listeners are invited to appropriate and contribute to in own worhsip. Contains thematic anthems such as 'Take me Back', Jesus is the answer and the tear rendering 'If heaven was never promised to me'.

I bought this CD as I remembered hearing a few songs a little while back which I liked. The CD has some slow songs and a few upbeat songs. The album is a good one and I would recommend it to someone who likes Gospel.

This is a great recording of an old favourite. I'm really enjoying listening to it again in a more convenient format.

This cd is second to none. The songs are very inspirational and makes you love The Lord even more. Highly recommended.
