Crafty Mama I started making these after receiving compliments on the puppy I made for my son. I have sold over 200 of these and absolutely LOVE seeing pics of the babies with their buddy on my Facebook page "Pacifier Buddy." The buddy's are beanie babies that have been repurposed. I had an extensive collection LOL so there are a lot of variety in animals. The beads have been removed from the inside and stuffed with polyester plush then sewn closed. Then I attach and reinforce a new Avent Hospital Grade Green Soothie Pacifier, which is not detachable. Please be advised the eyes and nose are beads and may be a choking hazard. The size of the buddy helps the baby find it when the pacifier falls out of his mouth. They feel comfort with the bright colors and soft texture of the buddy. As the baby progresses out of the pacifier it will remain his lovey or friend :). Care instructions: To clean your Baby Beanie Buddy place it in a small laundry bag (a pillow case works too) and wash on normal cycle in a traditional washing machine with soap of choice. To dry your buddy simply lay it out to dry (should only take 30 minutes to an hour) Quickly clean the pacifier by washing it with soap and water. To sterilize the pacifier attached to your buddy, place the pacifier in boiling water for several minutes.
