Cheap price so if the kid drops it your not out $600 or more. , Nice easy shooting camera. Simple to use if you can figure it out on your own. Takes great close ups.. night shots are good don’t use included stand really flimsy. Will work for normal day shots, but long exposure night photos will be blurry if there’s a slight breeze. Over all though it’s a nice cheap first time DSLR that’s a nice step above the very basic point and shoot & shoot auto focus cameras. I’ll still recommend it. . But Here’s why only a three. The included canon instructions was 15 pages of mostly pictures with absolutely no detail, but it did come in 20 different languages. It’s an import. Not made in the states. Contacted canon, they sent me to their overseas branch for customer support because they weren’t familiar with it. ... I’m finding lenses hard to figure out which ones fit as the mountings are different in most cases. Most dealers in my general area have never heard of it. So unable to help. The remote shutter button won’t work, the 4000D/T100 doesn’t have a IFR sensor so you will need a corded one . Currently waiting on Canons overseas customer support to tell me what American parts/lenses are compatible with it.

I am completely new to DSLR photography so this review is coming from the Viewpoint of a newbie. The reason I gave this camera four stars instead of 5 is because there is no external point to allow for remote photography. The only way to take photos remotely is to link the camera up to the cannon Connect app via the camera's Wi-Fi. I had no problem connecting it to my Android phone but that might be an issue for some. I've learned that this is a gray Market product which means it is a genuine Canon camera but it was not manufactured in this country nor was it meant to be marketed in this country. When I called tech support to ask for advice about remote Photography, they could not find the model anywhere in their system and they had to look on Amazon to see what I was talking about. But I assume that accessories meant for other EOS or Rebel Models might fit this one. As far as the camera itself, I have no complaints! I'm taking baby steps learning all the functions necessary to take photos without using the auto setting. And frankly, this is a good value for the price. Although I may upgrade down the line when I improve, I highly suggest this camera for beginners with the knowledge that the only remote option is a smartphone app.

So this is my first SLR camera that I have purchased. The quality is great and it's relatively simple to use, but you definitely need to read the instructions or google/youtube some things if you want to do anything aside from take automatic pictures. The included book explains everything also. My only complaint about this package is that I don't believe that the shutter remote is compatible with this camera. I looked everywhere online and cannot find anything that suggests that it may be. It's not a big deal but would be cool if it came with instructions or even direct you toward instructions on how that is supposed to work, if it does.

Everything came like advertised I would highly recommend this camera for beginners

Great product, this is one of the best budget bundles if you don't want to spend a lot. Maybe the camera is not super fancy but delivers.

Got this for a present for my daughter. She loves it. I was surprised with everything that it came with. Has been using it since Christmas. Loves it.
