These things are great. My cat loves them! The ball is a cloth covered ball with a small noisemaker inside.

I bought this because when we rescued our kittens they sent us with a toy similar to this, it was their favorite so I had to find more. These tend to peel at the seems, but my kittens love chasing them around and fighting over them, they push them down the stairs chase after it and then are able to carry it back up the stairs with their teeth and do it all over again. As soon as you had the ball and rattle it they look over at you immediately ready for you to throw it, one of them I swear was even playing fetch with it. Worth it for the bulk pack when it gets destroyed I have 47 more right behind this one.

As a previous reviewer said, these are hard balls similar in size to ping pong balls with a soft furry cover. I also agree with the comment to that review which questioned why the 1 star review just because the balls are hard. These are wonderful hard balls for play.My cat loves the hard balls to bat around and actually fetches them when thrown. The fur helps him get a grip in his mouth when fetching. They also have a nice rattle to them that's not too loud or soft.The biggest negative is the fur cover comes off easily. My cat destroys the fur off a ball in about a week, so this box of balls should last about a year. I've been thinking of ways to re-fur the balls, since the hard balls themselves are perfectly fine.

I was looking for a certain kind of ball when I bought these. It's not what I was looking for exactly but my cat still enjoys them. There is no bell inside, and they are not fuzzy and soft. Kind of scratchy.

My cats love fuzzy mice that rattle so I thought I'd try fuzzy balls that rattle. They love them! Mice might still be their favorite but these balls are getting a lot of use, especially if I roll them around in some catnip. They're like a ping-pong ball covered in a fuzzy sweater-like material, and they make a very satisfying rattle noise. At $15 for a bucket of 45 of these things, you can't go wrong.

It's surprising how easy it is to find this specific type of ball, but this is the type that my cats love the most. It rattles (as opposed to squeaking or crinkling - they don't like those sounds that much), it's easy to carry around and play with, it's soft, and so on. I'm glad I found this.

Our cats love these. They play with them a lot. I would recommend this product. Great value.

Initially bought these for my Ferrets. They wouldn't play with them (but would with other rattle balls from Petco). Ended up giving them to my Sister-in-Law who is a third grade teacher. She gave them to the kids and they enjoyed them, so no loss. The price was excellent.
