I'm an electrician and I'm not super hard on tools but after just a couple weeks the magnets in the blade came out, the recoil is having a hard time it rolls a bunch at the end of pulling the tape in, but I will say I am impressed with how strong the recoil is, maybe so strong that's why it's doing this? You really have to use your finger as a brake when reeling the tape in cause it really goes. The stick out isn't the best but could be alot worse in my opinion. I'm not a fan of only one side having standard measurements as this makes it difficult to measure precisely in some locations, but that's just me. The laser is extremely accurate though I was very happy with that feature as it can save a ton of time in some instances and this makes up for the stick out not being great ten times over. I measure a 25 ft span and it was within 1/16 of an in accuracy. If you were using the laser and on a sunny day or a very reflective/bright surface it may be a different story but on a cloudy day or anytime inside it works great! If you measure more with the physical tape I wouldn't reccomend this product, but if your mainly looking at this for the laser 10/10 reccomend!

This product is an outstanding measuring tape paired with an average performing laser measure. If you buy this tape-- buy it primarily for the steel tape not the laser. The laser is ok, but not great. It performs worse than an under $50 laser measure. Furthermore it is missing features that a laser measure would need; such as (bubble) levels, the ability to change the reference point from the back to the front of the device, and saving multiple measurement points; changing units is also cumbersome.The steel tape has so many good features its best to dedicate an entire section to the tape itself.= Steel Tape =This device is primarily sold as combo device with an emphasis on the laser measure. But the best part is the steel tape itself. The less than 1" wide blade has break of 6'5" without resorting to a huge curve; resulting in a surface offset of only 3/16". Furthermore its not a cheap blade made of extra thin metal so it has excellent curl-over recovery and resists edge rolling. This means the edge is less likely to be bent, chipped, and left looking like fried bacon. The retraction mechanism is also competently quick and smooth. It doesn't hesitate while retracting and also doesn't threaten to slice off your fingers with an over aggressive spring. This also reduces the weight of the tape. The hook has proper grab and includes two strong magnets. It also slides to provide accurate inside and outside measurements.Specs:* 11/16" wide blade* 7.5 mils thick coated steel blade* Full set markings for both metric and imperial-- this means you still get markings every feet and every 16in for studs in addition to 10 cm groups* 0.9" wide sliding magnetic hook with true zero (for inside and outside measurements)* 6'5" break with 30" curl-over recovery* 3/16" edge to surface offset-- makes accurate marks easy* Push to retract automatic brake= Laser Measure =The best part of this laser is actually the instructions. This may seem odd; but for so many less than name brand devices this is an issue. The manufacturer appears responsive to user feedback and has documented everything from error codes and usage to tips/faq in its instructions. This means there's proper documentation on how to switch units and on what different error codes mean.The bad is this is a significantly worse laser measure than a typical under $50 device. You can't switch between back and front of device reference points; nor can you store previous measurements. Worse yet it isn't trimmed out to begin with. So for my tape in particular, there is an inherent 1/8" bias to all measurements. At distance this becomes a 1/4" error. Furthermore the tape has no levels to align the laser and its not lined up with the steel tape; even if you account for the fact the laser is offset. There is an offset of 1" on x @ 5ft and 0.75" on y; this works out to 0.95 degrees off x and 0.72 degrees off y. This is not uncommon for low cost devices. There is also no level on the body so its impossible to tell if you measuring parallel lines.For anyone unfamiliar to laser measurement devices there is a huge distance penalty for usage in bright light. This can be anywhere from a 4:1 reduction in maximum measurement distance; to a 10:1 reduction. In indirect sunlight I found the laser capable of measuring out to around 10m

Good measuring tape ,expensive but decent

The laser struggles outside sometimes im bright light but in lower outdoor light it works fine.

As far as the accuracy of the laser goes, and the overall functionality of how it works as a measuring tape, it's quite durable and does the intended job when used primarily for measuring, and the hard, dense plastic body can take a fair amount of punishment from drops and the like.I actually had to return the first one that I got, however, due to the yellow paint and black markings on the actual tape peeling and flaking off. And although they did send me a new one to serve as a replacement, I had to deal with the unfortunate issue of an auto-braking system that didn't work. And instead of performing its intended purpose of reeling the tape back into the body, the recycle button more or less only succeeded in becoming some kind of makeshift fidgeting toy.I then ran into further difficulties while attempting to get yet another replacement, as the seller required I provide video evidence of this flaw, which was a hard enough feat on its own, given that I had to hold the tape measure with both hands while also capturing it on video using the camera on my phone. Additionally, once getting assistance from my father in handling this tricky maneuver, I eventually discovered that there wasn't really any way for me to actually get the video file to them, as all communication going through Amazon is restricted only to text and/or images, and any type of video formats are automatically removed.Ultimately, I suppose that I should've shopped around a bit more before deciding on this particular purchase!

Works as expected, and easy to use. I like that it can be recharged rather than changing out batteries.

(No te marcará la medida).Guarda los datos de la última medida sin necesidad de dejarlo en el lugar para que no se pierda la distancia.La cinta métrica se detiene en automático y se libera con el botón, cuestión de acostumbrarse. Se siente de buen material.Se siente robusto y capaz de soportar un uso rudo.En conclusión, para uso profesional no creo sea la mejor opción, pero para uso casual/doméstico está muy bien.

Está muy bien, es resistente, la cinta vale la pena y el láser es preciso a distancias cortas ya que la iluminación interfiere y se pierde, a mí me funciona bien el láser hasta 10 metros

The media could not be loaded.  La cinta solo tiene graduación por un lado y no es tan rígida. Pero no es un problema mayor. El láser es preciso. Puedes calcular áreas, volumen y superficies con las funciones del laser. En general muy 👍
