Who Says Quack?: A Pudgy Board Book (Pudgy Board Books)

A super cute and simple book. It's pretty small size-wise, but it's great to have a book that doesn't take up much space in the diaper bag and is easy for littles to hold. Really good for learning animals and animal sounds!

The writing is fun, clever, and very interesting, even though it's just a book about a handful of animal sounds.The pictures in the book are excellent, too. Each page has a different animal with a different animal sound. For example, Moo for cows, and oink-oink-oink for pigs.The book is extremely small. I don’t know why, but this is by far my grandson’s favorite book. He’s 1 year old.

My children loved this book.

The pudgy book size is easy for babies to look at on their own, at only 4 and a half inches square. The photographs are clearly printed in matte finish on sturdy board book pages. Words are minimal so this is a great book to use when you are first introducing your child to reading. Flipping pages quickly helps keep their attention and will later allow you to slow down and talk about the animals as the child's attention span increases. Animals shown: hen and chicks, lamb, goats, dog (puppy,) cat (kitten,) horse and foal, rooster, donkey, pig, rabbit, cows, duck and ducklings. This is a book my granddaughter loves to pick up and "read" on her own at 11 months. (see photo above) Cute book!

I love this book! I originally received this book from The Imagination Library for my first son. We wore the book out! So, when my second son was born I knew I had to get it for him. He loves it too! Yes, it’s a 90s book but its simple and kids learn from it. Definitely a recommended book for babies, no matter how young!

My biggest surprise when we received this book was it's size. It is a very small book, but I guess that is a good thing for little hands. I guess I was expecting a regular size children's book. We bought it for our 2 year old Grandson. Although we haven't given it to him yet, it looks very simple and something like he would like. Bright pictures on hard cardboard type pages.

My 2 year old granddaughter loves ducks and she loved this book. Great pictures.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect little book for baby. This book is a small size (a little bigger than my hand). Love the realistic pictures! Great for teaching the names of animals and the sounds that they make. My daughter is always very interested in this one.

My just one year old granddaughter loves this book and can say the name of most of the animals and their sounds. We live in the country and its good to have proper photos and not stylised drawings of the animals. It's a pity the book isn't longer as it really is a pleasure to look at and read for babies.
