I previously used a wireless system but the receiver gave out. I was never pleased with the 15 fps so I was looking to replace it with a system that offered at least 1080p video and a minimum 30 fps at an affordable price even if I had to completely wire it up. This system fit the bill. The picture is nice and sharp and I'm running it at 1080p but it's capable of 4K so a 4K monitor is next on my wish list. I especially like the zoom feature. I did run into a problem where the hard drive failed within days of getting the system so while I could see the live video, I couldn't record. I contacted the company and they tried to resolve the issue over the phone but when they couldn't, they didn't hesitate to promptly send me a new one which arrived within days. I just installed it and now everything is working great. The motion record is a little sensitive though, even on the lowest setting so I really had to tighten the motion detection area.

Setup for this was easy, as I’ve dealt with similar systems before. However, I experienced some issues upon setup in that there was no image getting to the unit from the cameras. A few brief emails back & forth with Melody and I was able to correct the problem.Otherwise, everything performs as advertised.

I ordered the [2019 New] Security Camera System, Safevant 5MP Home Security Camera System,4-Channel Ultra HD 4K Output Video DVR Recorder,4×5.0MP (2560 X 1944) Bullet Cameras,1TB Hard Drive for 24/7 Recording. Had a difficult time getting the app (P6S Pro) to work at first but after contacting customer support ( Melody) we got It to work. She was quick to respond to my request for help, as well as helping with a link for a longer bnc cable.
