These are very fresh. I used them as seeds to grown them and see if the birds like them. So far a high percentage of the seeds germinated and the plants are doing well. Not sure what else to judge them by. If I need them again, I will buy again.

I was a bit leery but was pleasantly surprised. Has the consistency of grits but the grain is smaller. It has a nice nutty flavor and is a little sweet. I'll be ordering this again.

I had never cooked with amaranth before but it’s delicious! Quickly becoming a household staple. I love that this is affordable and organic and tastes great!

I'm impressed with the quality. Considering how tiny the grains are, the bag contains just Amaranth grains, no chaff or sediment or random other seeds.I mainly use Amaranth as a healthy addition to mixed porridge dishes such as grits and congee. I love the texture it adds as well as balancing and enhancing the nutrition profile of other grains like rice, corn, or quinoa.
