Walter Chandoha. Cats. Photographs 1942-2018

Beautiful photos spanning decades so we get to see old cat boxes. Just stunning & fret quality. Looks like a lot of time was spent capturing these images which expresses so much about our beautiful intriguing furry friends.

I don't know if it was the vendor's or Amazon's bad packaging but the book arrived with all 4 corners smashed. To me it looked like they didn't put enough filling inside the box and since it's a heavy book it moved inside the box to the point it almost broke it open.This said, the pictures in the book are very nice and will make the delights of any cat lover. Nice and big coffee table book with great pictures of a lifetime of love for cats and family life.

Walter Chandoah obviously knew cats. His images are inspiring. The range of animals he photographed and the places they were taken are in themselves a historical progression. Its harder to capture cads candidly as they often take flight at the sight of strangers so the street shots are particularly good in capturing genuine un-posed stances.

This book is stunning! Bought it for the coffee table and it looks amazing! It is such good quality and the photographs are beautiful if you love looking at cats ❤️🌈⭐️

Despite it being multilingual not all narrative is translated to English leaving 90% of the book in German

Bought this for a friend who's cat-mad. She loves it as the pictures are of moggies of all types -not just pedigrees but ordinary cats of the world.

Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended
