Great tasting butter beans.
I liked item was delivered on time. The taste of these butter beans are excellent. Very good value, as good or better than the higher priced brand name. All cans were intact, nodented cans! I will order again thank you.

Hard to find.
Love these beans for making chili. Have been using for years. Just right amount of seasoning so I can add more to my taste.

I salt = cook longer
Have to cook longer because with no salt added it takes longer for them to soften

Received quickly in perfect condition.I used this for chili
I use these beans for my homemade chili soup which I make once a month. The beans freeze very well in the chili. They keep their shape and don't get mushy which I prefer. They are also perfect for refried beans. Will definitely buy again.

Fantastic Beans!!
I ordered a case of 12 Butter Beans, got them Sat. Arrived great, neatly packed and shipped nice, no dented cans! This is June 2020, Exp on the top is Feb 2022, great date! No pull top, have to use can opener. Have not had any Butter Beans since March, due to Covid-19. Have not been able to get any locally. Opened a can Sunday to have with Cheese Burgers & Mashed Potato's. Drained half of broth off, beans was down about an inch, nice, not mashed and broken up. There was 2 or 3 squished on the bottom which is less then regular. I put a lump of butter & fresh cracked black pepper, Was GREAT! We like Joan of Arc the best, have tried other brands, but they was over cooked and mashed in the cans, half way towards refried beans texture. Others not cooked enough, hard. Some even hard some small green lima beans in there cans, that is not Butter Beans! To those who don't know, Butter Beans are big Fordhook Lima Beans, that was not picked in the field on time for use as regular Lima Beans. They let them stay in the field about another week, then pick them, dry them, then cook them in water & a little salt, then process them, can them, which cooks them more. My one Grandmother made her own Butter Beans from the garden. The Fourth is just around they corner, I will take 3 or 4 cans, drain off the broth, put in casserole, brown half pound bacon, then saute an onion & green pepper, add favorite barbeque sauce, bake in oven, don't cook till dry, leave a little sauce, great for picnics!Update; 6-30-2020, Just got my 2 extra cases I ordered on Monday, got them today Tuesday, all arrived great, nice package, not beat up, NO DENTS!! Exp. 4-2022. Thank You Amazon Workers! Tip of the hat to ya!
