The name is just a sticker on the plastic bottom of the PureMist. Makes it look very cheap.... Thought it'd be a little better quality. I received it today, along with a SpaRoom diffuser and the SpaRoom is all metal but the PureMist puts out way more fragrance and humidification at a time. The SpaRoom brand is quiet but the Pure Mist unit puts off NO sound at all. I love that... The PureMist instructions are not the best, they are vague and repeat steps. It is like they were translated and just were translated wrong. However, it is not hard to figure out without using directions. It doesnt really give good cleaning instructions like the SpaRoom, which gives you very detailed specific instructions on use and caring for the device. I like the durable look of the SpaRoom device, and the ease of use and cleaning. The PureMist is harder to clean, however I like it's overall design much better even though it appears to be a lot more cheaply made than the SpaRoom... If I ordered another again, I would chose the Pure Mist only because of the amount of humidification and scent it puts off, the No noise of the device, and the smaller design compared to the SpaRoom. If you prefer a device that looks durable and easier to clean, go for the SpaRoom. I really do like them both...Only time will tell which will last longer as I plan to use them both equal amounts, hopefully they will both last me a long time.I will update my review after I've had both units for awhile to make sure they do not mess up or breakdown....

This diffuser is awesome! Produces plenty of mist, love the lighting options, sturdy design, and looks nice. I don't put the oils in the little compartment where it recommends, but instead put it directly in the water. I have owned three different diffusers, all different brands, and this is the best one so far. It works better than the Young Living diffuser I have that costs over $100. Unfortunately my children quickly claimed this one as their own for their bedroom because of the light design and because they love their lavender oil at night. So I have just ordered a second one and am impatiently waiting for my 2 day shipping!

BOO.... This doesn't diffuse the oil at all!! The oil goes in a small repository on the side of the white plastic topper... I don't see any way the design of this diffuser would work to actually disperse the oil. You can add as much oil as the repository can hold, and you won't smell the oil at all, even if you run the diffuser for hours. The only positive thing I can comment on is that it would run all night without needing to be refilled.

I am in the process of returning this item due to the noisiness. It diffuses my essential oils into the air. These worked great and then all of a sudden stopped. My son got one to work again, maybe he can get the other working also. They are wonderful though. Love all the water they hold and not loud at all.

We were very happy with this product when we first purchased it. However, less than a year later it is not working properly. The self timer stopped working to shut itself off. Therefore, using it at night no longer is an option. I have to make sure to shut it off manually after a certain number of hours.

I used this for about seven months and loved it...then it broke.
