I bought this set on a whim after watching a YouTube video about applying foundation. I am of the age when we were taught to use our fingers to apply our make up, when I was younger a make up brush was a true luxury. I’m giving away my age here .... anyway, after watching YouTube and seeing a girl use a brush to apply foundation I was curious. These two large brushes have dense, yet soft bristles. Amazingly they work so well at applying my foundation I don’t think I’ll ever go back to using my fingers. I was surprised at the coverage, and considering these are “cheap” make up brushes I got great results. The little narrow one I have used on my eyebrows and the others I am still experimenting with. Anyway - a good purchase for an almost 50 year old .... who says I am too old to learn new things.

These are pretty good brushes and I am now converted to this style from the common foundation brushes. It blends foundation in really well, without streaking or soaking into the brush.I've tried using the small one with eye shadow but didn't get on too well with it, so mainly use the larger 2 and not the others.I only chose this set 1) because of the price and 2) the panda keyring. The keyring was rubbish. I was expecting it to be metal but it was rubber, like it was from a 2p machine at the arcades. But it was a freebie and the brushes were good.

I didn't know what to expect as I don't do make up often, I was expecting them to be a little softer but they applied the foundation PERFECTLY!I don't use sponges but it's such great value for money as a package

Great value for money , these brushes are easy to use and leave a great finish with product , easily cleaned and dry quickly , I actually purchased another set .

Brushes are beautifully soft and I can’t wait to thoroughly put them to the test, as I have only briefly used them today. They feel amazing on the skin. So far I’m happy with their performance. The packaging however leaves a lot to be desired. The brushes came smushed together in a ziplock bag inside a cardboard envelope box. Unfortunately, because of this, the biggest brush is slightly damaged and misshapen, as are the next two in size, only the smallest seems to have made it unscathed. The beauty blender is also covered in dents, but this doesn’t really affect the use. The Brushegg is a very handy little addition, and a saving grace as I didn’t have to buy cleaning mats separately. The free gift is fun, I’m sure my kids will love it. All in all, at this price, what you get for the money would be very good if it was appropriately packaged, and not damaged, but it is still useable.Edited to add: I did have to trim some of the hairs on the two biggest brushes, as there were a few very long strands, but again for the price - can’t really complain.

I don't often write reviews but here goes, brushes are very soft I don't think their much good for applying liquids in my opinion, but are great for blending. At first I couldn't work out what the little rubber thing was but I've got it now. The only thing I have a gripe over is the packaging they came in a zip lock bag and were just squeezed in, but with a quick wash they came back.

Broke second tome using it not brilliant at all.
