This book is a hit!
“Way of the Warrior Kid" was a hit in our household! My 5 year old son and I both thoroughly enjoyed following Marc's journey as he learns important life lessons from his uncle, a Navy SEAL. The book strikes a perfect balance between real life feelings/emotions scenes and valuable insights, making it engaging for both kids and adults. It sparked meaningful discussions about discipline, perseverance, and self-improvement, and left us feeling inspired to tackle challenges head-on. Highly recommend for families looking for an exciting and empowering read! Can’t wait to read the next one.

It will help your son(s) character development.
Great story with a very good underlying message. Book will surely help both sexes but I highly encourage to buy and read it (multiple times) to your Sons. They too need messages like these. Now that my kiddo is older, he offered himself to donate it to his School library and said: "I think more boys need to know this".That was exactly the point of the character growth I was looking into these series.Read it to them. If they like it... "Good!" If they don't? "Good!".XD

Confidence booster and motivator
My son loved this series. He read them without me asking every day. He was motivated to exercise, be kind, and had a lot of great discussions.

Changed my son's life.
I ordered these for my son and he devoured the entire series. He struggles with being very hard on himself and has a hard time with failure. These stories changed his whole perspective on what it means to fail. One day, after his first basketball practice, I asked him how it went... He sighed and said, "Well, I learned how to lose." I asked him what he meant and after an explanation what he said was that Jocko said (I Way of the Warrior Kid) that failure is an opportunity to learn (which is a concept supported in the story). This totally changed his perspective on failure. I times past, a day like that would have ended with tears and him beating himself up for any mistake, which I would spend so much time encouraging him and trying to communicate what this story seemed to plant in his brain in just the way he needed. I'll be forever grateful. I buy and recommend these books to everyone I know has kids.

Wish this book was published 30 years ago raising my son...glad it's here to help my grandson.
I am reading this book daily with my 6 year old grandson. He has living been with us for 3 years. We read the first volume twice and could hardly wait to pre-order this one. After the first volume, our grandson was easier to wake up on school days. I would just go to the door and say, "Time to get after it, Warrior Kid!" He would hop up, take care of his morning chores and be ready for school in little time. He has been taking jiu jitsu for a year now and loves it. We are 8 chapters in to this volume and he can hardly wait to read more. I read ahead the rest of the book just now and my emotional response is gratitude. I am grateful for Jocko's service to our nation and his willingness to pass on what he has learned. These books can be used to shape a generation. I will be giving copies to families for their son's birthdays. It has challenged me as well...it's never too late to begin learning DISCIPLINE EQUALS FREEDOM! 2 Timothy 1:7 " For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline."

want to know how to help your kid with bullying?
loved this book - great for a kid to learn how to be a decent human, a protector and a pal. Ive passed my copies to my son so he can read them to his son who's 6 at the moment and is destined to be anything he wants to be. I loved the sections on fitness and 'getting after it' but more so the pages on bullying and thinking through it analytically... not easy at all at 6 years old, but if just 1 thing sticks in the kids head then just maybe it might be the thing that helps him deal with it...and not become bully also.I look forward to book 3
