It provides great pleasure to a 7 years old (my granddaughter)
Excellent introductory product for a child. I bought it as my granddaughter's 7th birthday, and I was greatly surprised with the little help she required to assemble it, and how easy is for her to keep it safe. Of course the best feature is how it introduces a child to the use of a telescope and it arouses his/her astronomical curiosity. Great product, but remember, it is introductory. Great to look at the moon, but it is powerful enough as to distinguish the planets.

Easy to use, with a good close up of the moon
I've had a interest in the stars and what goes on in the night sky for years but this is the first time I've owned a telescope. I didn't want to spend to much money or buy something to advanced. I've found this meets my needs and is easy to use and set up. It comes with two types of lens and a magnifying lens. It's compact to store away when not in use or easy to place on a table when you want to use. Overall a ideal beginner's telescope.
