Hito Rubber Damping Solid Tire 8.5 Inch Front/Rear Tire Wheel Replacement for Xiaomi M365/M365 PRO Electric Scooter

Like everything else in life, it helps to plan ahead before attempting to mount the new tire. Yes, it was indeed a challenge to get it on the wheel, but with a little patience and proper planning, the installation itself only took me 5 minutes.Some tips I found useful when mounting on my Xiaomi M365 PRO:* Check the web for installation articles/videos for reference* Check the tire so you know which way to put it on so it spins in the correct direction* Boil the tire in a large pan for 10 minutes to soften the rubber slightly* Keep your tools close at hand so that you can work efficiently while the rubber is still soft/hot* Apply a little rubber grease (or similar) around the tire and wheel edges to aid the installation* Use work gloves when working with the tire - you need to apply a fair bit of pressure* Install the tire on the wheel so that the wired connection is on top - Feed the wheel through the tire first* I used a pair of old sports shoes beneath the wheel to keep it in place and avoid scratching* I only needed the supplied tool to get the tire on the wheel. It has a useful hook on the end to aid the installation* Work your way around the wheel using the tool to slide the tire on the wheel* Once the tire was on the wheel it was not straight - I worked my way around the tire inserting a large Philips head screwdriver in the small tire holes, pulling the tire up to straighten it on the wheel

Wanted these as I use it for work and can't have punctures,if am late alot of people are late (am a train driver) wasn't too sure as people said there hard to fit but after buying a set and fitting them I found them easy to fit,the way I fitted them1,soak in hot water for 15-20 mins2,rub washing up liquid around the inside of the tyre (once dried with a towel)3,make sure the tyre is being fitted running the right way (arrows running down)4,push one side on,hold inplace with your knee or have someone place there foot on top5,use the tyre lever that comes with them and place it through the tyre and onto the rim of the wheel then stretch tyre over the rim6,straighten the tyre on the wheel by place a screw driver through the holes of the tyre and twist onto the wheel....and finshedRemoving the wheel involves picking off the hi vis stickers and removing the two small bolts to expose the wheel nuts on either side,i kept the hi viz stickers and used them as a template to cut new ones out of a sticker sheet (I used carbon effect) again I found them very straight forward to fit (once I found out how to remove the wheels) ran loads off tests and there holding up to everything,very happy I went with these

Most important thing to remember is this is hard rubber, meaning there's little friction on the road making it slippery in wet weatherEasy to fit, but you'll need a 4 point to be able to do it in 5 minutes like I did.Merge in hot water for 10 minutes like instructions advise.Step on bottom part, put 1 crowbar on each side at 45 degrees angle and finnaly a screwdriver in between for the final push into place.Edit: changed to 3 stars because not even 6 months and tyre thread is gone.

As you can see in the pictures I got a puncture and tried to fix the puncture couple of times and when I wanted to fit the tire back I made the tube puncture again! as it is very difficult to fit the scooter tire back. Finally, I decided to get a solid tire and read lots of review and some people complaint that it gets bumpy and vibrate a lot and so on, Honestly it is my second day to go to work and come back and I am more than happy. It is a bit harder than before but it is manageable and just imagines you don't need to worry about a puncture. VERY VERY IMPORTANT: ***it is very easy and simple to fit the tire on! Just make sure to leave the tire in boiled water for at least 10 minutes and put some grees on the rim and easily push the tire on the rim.MAX 2 MINUTES.

Fantastic tyre, perfect for the M365 if you want a permanent solution without the fear of puncture.It's best to microwave the wheels to warm them up and loosen the rubber so they're easier to apply due to being more flexible from the heat, just because if can be very hard to install them straight out of the box.They come with a handy metal tool to help you get it on to the rim, but I suggest a second one so you've got two to help get the wheel on.They absorb shock very well from bumps and don't skid or slip.

I've given the tyres 5 stars because the quality of the rubber tyres was excellent, it was just a shame they didn't fit.I don't own an Xiaomi M365 scooter, however my scooter does have 8.5 inch tyres, however the tyres just didn't fit. See picture!I can only assume the Xiaomi scooter inner rim size is smaller.Oh, the seller was excellent!

No more tyre changing, however it feels like driving on rocks all the time.
