M1 Carbine Buttstock Type Pouch Lt. OD Green Marked JT&L 1943

Got a few of these for my M1 Carbine collection. Well made and fit ok with a little breaking in - Nothing wrong with this product. True to the original.

Looks great, fits perfectly. I see a lot of reviews saying that it’s impossible to put on the buttstock. Just take the barrel and receiver off of the stock and slide it on from the front. It fits fine and takes like 30 seconds.

More for looks then function

This looks great on my Ruger 10/22 Carbine. It holds 2 10-round factory mags with room to spare for a boresnake, oiler, lighter, cold steel micro recon, etc. I ordered another one for my M1 Garand, it holds 2 8-round clips of M2 ball ammo perfectly. Just put a piece of gorilla tape over the snap inside to protect your stock. I want to order a third one as well for my web pistol belt. Thanks worldwarsupply.com!!

I was looking for something that looks authentic to an issued item to GIs. This fits what I was looking for on my 1943 made M1A1 carbine. Only problem is the magazines I have don't fit, it is too stiff and needs to be broke in to work.

It looks real swell in the pictures; however, you can't store magazines in it after installing. I wish I'd researched this product a bit more before purchasing.
