This is a beautiful kettle. It is very sturdy and easy to use. There is clear window on the side to see the water level and the on button lights up! The stainless handle is very sleek and chic. The copper matches my kitchen decor flawlessly.I loved the basic kettle I had before this one but have fallen in love with this one! This is a replacement due to the base on the old one quit working, so I replaced the whole thing. This was a great choice. Very elegant.

I LOVE this kettle. Everything about it is wonderful! First of all, it is just as gorgeous in real life, if not more so than in the photos. Secondly, the feel of it in your hands when you pour it is perfectly weighted so it doesn't cause strain on the wrist. The size is great when making the whole family a round of hot chocolate. No need to boil two times just to get enough water. Third, the switch lights up a really cute blue colour when you turn it on. Fourth, the base plate is solid and doesn't slide around. Fifth, the lid is secure enough to not fall out when you tip it to pour, but not so hard to get out that you have to struggle. Sixth, the sound of it coming to a boil is not nearly as loud as 90% of the other kettles I have had in my lifetime, and I have had A LOT of kettles. And finally, the handle has an excellent design so that it doesn't get hot and you never risk burning your hand when you pick it up. I absolutely LOVE this kettle.

I LOVED my electric kettle and still do, if only it continued to work. I will say that my family drinks a lot of tea and this kettle was used at least once a day, and possibly five times a day in the winter months, for nearly three years before having problems. Others will probably get a longer life out of the kettle if they use it less frequently.On the bottom is a small metal post that goes into the base to make an electrical connection. The post became loose and would move up into the base of the kettle. I could pull it out and reposition it with a pair of tweezers, then fiddle with the kettle on the base to get the connection right to keep the power on to boil water. This was a hassle so I eventually purchased the TA screw heads to remove the bottom and tighten the post. I discovered the only thing holding the post was a rubber washer that had lost its grip. I used super glue to strengthen the grip of the washer to the post, but the switch mechanism still has a short in it somewhere and won’t stay on. Also, the entire internal structure gets very hot, and while dried superglue isn’t flammable, it is releasing fumes which are not safe.All that said, I still debated whether to buy another. It’s a gorgeous kettle, and possibly the manufacture improved the design since my kettle was purchased. I really did enjoy three years of functional art on my kitchen counter. I don’t like throwing things away though, so I’ll give another electric kettle a try this time around.

I just love this kettle! Well made, sturdy. Compliments the copper accents in my kitchen. Heats up quickly, handle supports a firm hold, and the cover is sealed tight. Doesn’t take up much counter space but makes several cups at full capacity.

looks: 5 stars, very sleek, polished and attractiveease of use: 4 stars, ergonomic, not perfect but not horrible on nerve damaged/arthritic handsrate of heat: 5 stars, seems fast, does the job, as usual lots of noise duringease of clean: 3.5 stars, lid coming off helps but if you have a big hand it wont work, mine is small so finepour: 2 stars, this is where the design faults. the filter screen and screen holder cause alot of spurting and mess when you pour. thankfully you can remove both easily and then it pours fast and smooth.filling: 5 stars, easy if you go thru the spout. a bit of a hassle if you pop the top off to do itwater level: 2 stars, cant see as its under the handle. poor engineering allows water to get inside and fog up.cost: 4stars, seems worth the price for its sleek look and functionalityso its a pretty kettle that does the job with some issues. the poor design of the mesh filter allows uneven pour flow. poor design of the level indicator allows water inside to condense and is hard to read. wont order again but will use till it breaks which for my last few kettles averaged around 2yrs. will update when this one goes.update> had to put back the filter and deal with the splashing as it was needed to regulate temp and wasa the shut off valve. i could live with standing by while it boiled and turning it off manually but my husband is one to just turn on the kettle then walk away and forget he did that. :P

I love this kettle. Holds a lot of water. Looks pretty on my counter. Heats up fast.
