Heavy duty - this will last for a decade or longer
I bought this netting to protect my chickens from hawks and eagles. It works great! Very sturdy product, it’s got good stretch, and is easily attached to supports or draped over wire. This is a heavy woven and knotted net, not a plastic grid.I recommend securing it fairly tight to prevent entanglement of your flock when they try to fly out.I am adding a pond with ducks and koi this year. I will be buying more of this netting to keep everything safe.

Excellent netting
Using this over my chicken pen. Way easier to put up than the last netting and much heavier duty. This stuff is awesome. Best I have used.

Good Quality and Easy to Spread
Edit 7/21/22 - Quick update after having used this for a few month in attempt to protect my blueberry bushes from getting picked clean by birds. So turns out most birds can sneak right through the holes easily, and once they figured that out, it was all over. Therefore I'd consider this net only useful it situations where you need to protect against larger predators like hawks, etc.The product came packaged well and was easy to spread over a large area of blueberry bushes. It got caught a few times on the blueberries, but it was pretty much what you expect a net to do.I can't speak to the longevity of the product, but it seems sturdy and well made.

Great netting for our chicken yard
I read reviews about this netting before buying it. A number of people said that this was great netting - strong, durable, easy to spread, and hard to rip. They said not to bother purchasing cheaper netting, as it just rips and is hard to work with, and you'll end up spending more in the end. So, I got this netting, and I'm 100% glad I did. It is as advertised, and it's perfect for our needs. We have it on top of our chicken yard to keep hawks and other daytime opportunistic predators out, and it has already spared our birds at least one attempted hawk attack that I witnessed. The hawk had no chance, and the netting survived undamaged. I would definitely get this netting again. If you can spend the money up front to get this, it should save you time, effort and more money down the road.

Best Netting EVER!
We ordered this netting the first time about 5 years ago & it has been great! Very strong, does not tangle, does not stretch out. I have a huge chicken pen and it was easy enough for two people to put up. It lasted through three category 1 hurricanes. (Matthew, Irma & Michael. All three had all been downgraded to a 1 by the time they reached us.) Statesboro GA. Even so, we still had lots of big tree limbs, down trees and damage with all three. By the end of 5 years, it had tree limbs on it we could not reach, and we decided to replace it.. We ordered a different kind and boy was that a huge mistake. We unfortunately cut the old one off, and replaced it with the newer one. That was 3 or 4 weeks ago. it tangled, it took us about 2 hours of painstaking work to get it over the pen. It tangled on EVERYTHING Once we get it put up, over the next week or so, it stretched out . something has already chewed through several places trying to get in, and one on my chickens flew up & got caught in it! It was more light weight, more of a soft knotted material and just has not held up at all! So we finally found this netting again and reordered it. We just put it up over the bad netting and we are back in business! Heavy duty, easy to put up, no tangles, critter proof. What more can I say? Huge sigh of relief. Best netting out there!

Nice netting!!
Nothing to dislike so far.. Its heavy weight and big enough for my enclosure. Takes patience spreading it out, but worth it and all my birds are safe. Have yet to see how it works with snow but don't think it will load up and be a problem. Awesome net.

Heavy is an understatement
I haven't even opened the packaging yet, however, I was shocked at the size and weight when it arrived. From the netting that I've seen that this is competing with I expected less than 1/2 the size package. The 50x100 net is in a rugged bag made out of what appears to be a heavy rain tarp with heavy strapping. It won't fit on my scale, but it feels to be between 75 and 100 lbs. It is about 5 feet long and 1.5 feet in diameter. This is a more costly net but so far I definitely feel like I got what I paid for.I'll update the review when I get it installed.-----Update 8/21:Installing a net this size on an irregular shape chicken run is no small task. However the quality and strength of this net is very good. Highly recommended. My biggest concern at this point is possible ice storms in the winter. I think the net will do just fine. We'll see if my fence can hold it.

Lightweight and flexible
I live in a residential area and got four chickens in the spring. Because we rent the property and I have capable but not professional carpentry skills, I was leery of tackling a project I couldn't handle. I wanted to have a large area for the "girls" so they were free to roam, but I needed to have them contained. I saw a project online where bird netting was used and this was perfect for my project. I was able to do this all myself. The netting stretched well and was easy to staple to the boards. It's light and durable. It is shipped well rolled, but be wary -- it will tangle if you don't keep it organized. The picture was taken before the project was actually finished, thus, the ladder and the chair. The netting is stretched between the fence on three sides and the frame in front. It extends over the top as we have hawks and owls in the area. It went much further than I expected and I had quite a bit left over, but it may come in handy for other projects. Overall, highly recommend.
