Well-Made, Natural-Material, Easy-to-Rinse-and-Wash Body Scrubbers That Do A Nice Job
I was grateful to see that an all-natural-material body and back-scrubber were available. Hemp is an awesome eco-friendly plant, anyway, so a big thanks to the company that makes this set.The mitt and back-scrubber are solidly constructed and woven. And, unless the sewing doesn't hold up, I don't foresee these items falling apart any time soon. For the price, that makes for a worthwhile investment.A huge positive is that, just as with a towel, you can toss these items in a washing machine to keep them clean. And just air dry them, as you do after each shower. When actually using these items, and if you have a shower caddy with hooks, the mitt comes with a convenient cloth loop to hang it up with. And the back-scrubber can be hung up by either of its two handles. Just rinse them out after you finish soaping up. They air-dry easily. Also nice is that this set comes with two large, plastic suction-cup hooks -- which you affix to your bath/shower wall, to hang your mitt and back-scrubber on. I haven't tried these suction cups yet, so can't vouch for how they perform. But they're quite durable-looking, not flimsy in appearance or apparent construction. Which makes sense because, when the back-scrubber is wet, it's relatively heavy. As for actual use, I've used the mitt and back-scrubber a few times so far. They feel good yet effective against the skin, like a gently stimulating, invigorating massage. I feel clean, and they make the skin feel smooth -- but without the skin feeling overly scrubbed or scratched (not at all). So far, then, I like these items very much.As for soap volume, I use all-natural bar soaps (a lot of liquid soaps, even so-called natural ones, contain problematic or toxic ingredients). As such, I find that I have to use a bit more soap on these hemp scrubbers than on some other standard towels/scrubbers, but I'm okay with that. Some people may not be. My point is that I don't know if liquid-soap users would need to apply more liquid soap as well, to achieve the same sense of lathering-up that they're used to with standard face towels or body scrubbers. To conserve water, I don't run the shower while I'm soaping up anyway, and which tends to save on how much soap you have to use. I.e., this avoids soap being wasted, in getting needlessly watered down the drain. Despite that water conservation, I still find that I have to use a bit more soap on these items, as the soap on them seems to deplete faster across the fibers. Maybe the naturally fibrous material simply doesn't hold/retain as much soap as some other scrubbers might/do. This is a minor thing, though, at least to me.The larger issue, for me, is that it feels good knowing that I'm using items made from natural-material hemp -- rather than synthetic materials produced with toxic pesticides, dyes, chemicals, etc., which are bad for the natural environment, for workers, and for users' health. After use, rinsing these items is fairly easy. The mitt is easy to turn inside out to rinse. And you just run water over the back-scrubber to rinse it off. When done, just gently squeeze them both to ring out excess water. So, overall, I like this set. I hope they'll keep performing well, and last a good long while. However, a few questions which the makers of this set might consider, as possible improvements upon it? If not without incurring too much extra cost in doing so? My comments below aren't complaints, only minor things which perhaps can be improved upon.1) The hand mitt would be more stable in the hand if there was a notch between the thumb and the other fingers. As currently shaped, the mitt tends to roll over a bit in the hand when in use. It's not a big problem, just a minor thing. Example: when the mitt rolls onto its other side a bit, the soap isn't on that side as much (unless you put soap on both sides of the mitt). This may not mean anything to other folks. But, on principle and for practical reasons, I try to conserve resources wherever I can, including how much soap I use in the shower/bath. I tend to soap up one side of the mitt only. But, as a solution, I can easily soap up both sides, and just use a bit less soap on each side. I don't mind.2) The back-scrubber is quite thick. Perhaps this is unavoidable for a sturdy, long-lasting item made of woven hemp? I have no idea. As is, it seems a bit like overkill? In fact, I wouldn't mind if the back-scrubber was somewhat lighter in weight, or made of just one layer across rather than being one layer wrapped around, making it doubly thick? That thickness doesn't interfere with my use of it, but I wonder if it may cause more bacterial build-up than it would otherwise -- in between machine-washings, that is. The thickness also makes the back-scrubber a bit more cumbersome to rinse out well. This only amounts to a few seconds more. But, for some very busy people who need to rush in and out of the shower, this may be a higher-maintenance inconvenience which they'd prefer to avoid?Other than that, I'm happy with these items. For convenience of handling (getting into and around body nooks and corners), I find them far superior to loofah sponges. And they seem more durable and long-lasting. And are far easier to keep clean of excess bacterial build-up.Thanks to the company for making these items, and for offering people a healthy, environmentally-friendly option to get clean with!

Great Product
After only two uses the skin on my legs and feet is so much smoother and my skin all over feels a lot less itchy, especially on my back. I am really amazed. The only reason I didn't give the product five stars is both the loop hanger and the hand opening on the mitt are too small. They probably will stretch a bit over time but when you are trying to keep your shower very short (due to the drought) you can't be struggling to get the thing on your hand. It also took me a bit too long to figure out how the suction hooks work—I didn't see any instructions. Push them against the shower wall and then pull the hook all the way down even though it feels like you are going to break it. The hook should not be sticking straight out. I have other smaller hooks that work the same way but these really felt like they were going to break so I was hesitant to pull them all the way down until after about ten minutes I realized they weren't going to stay up the way I was doing it. The other smaller hooks I have fall off every ten days or so. Hopefully, these will stay up. I have not put them in the washer yet. How long they last will be the final test and I will comment again should they fail but right now overall, I definitely recommend this product.

Works just like it's supposed to.
I'm trying to move away from plastic so I was looking for more natural products. This accomplished that goal. My one gripe is that the company sent plastic suctioned shower hangers. Very generous but kind of wasteful since I won't be using them. I'm tossing them (recycling if they can be) if I can't find someone that wants them. However, the product itself seems to work fine. It does have an oder. While on one hand it makes me a little apprehensive (I don't want to smell like that after rubbing it all over my body), it makes it clear that it's a natural product.I have small hands so the bath mitt doesn't really work as a mitt for me and is easier just to use as a wash cloth. The product is rough enough to act as an exfoliate, but also gentle enough for everyday use. Plus it seems to get softer as time goes on.

Good Scrubber
Pros:Unlike the bristle scrubbers whose bristles flatten out making the scrubbers worthless, these items will continue to scrub well.Other reviewers have stated that the scrubbers are too rough. I disagree. I could stand them to be a bit rougher, but am nevertheless satisfied with the roughness.Cons:I would rather have a wash cloth rather than a mitt. I switch hands while washing, making the mitt use cumbersome. Also, the mitt is too thick to get between one's toes.As other reviewers have mentioned, the "rope" on the back scrubber breaks after very little usage. The rope should be made of nylon. Also as others have noted the free hooks do not hold.

Good but not awesome.
I like the products and the company seems very nice. Unfortunately, the mitt is rather small for a male. It's somewhat difficult to get your hand in and out, and I don't have huge hands. After a few uses, I am still getting a lot of strings and pieces of hemp coming off the products. First use quite a few pieces came off and slowed the shower drain noticeably. I really like the amount of scratchiness, it's perfect. Just be aware, the products will not foam up like a puffy loufa does. You end up using more body wash, soap, etc than you do with other products I have used.
