I use these for Miniature Modelling. They are very delicate but essential Tools. As long as you don't apply too much pressure on them, they work perfectly. Great value.

The product is OK feels sturdy drill bits aren't very sharp but after a bit of a struggle it worked. Good for areas that are to small and tight to get an electric drill

I've given this 3 stars as only half of the product is of any use. As others have mentioned already the set of steel drill bits (black) have no point and are flat-bottomed. I tried to drill a 1.0mm hole in a piece of peg wood but the bit wouldn't even start the hole, completely useless. I inspected most of the bits under a scope and all the ones I looked at were the same so I stopped wasting my time. However, the PCB bits worked fine and had no problem drilling the small hole with the help of a Dremel , and these did have a point. The vice came in useful to hole the peg wood while drilling so that gets a thumbs up. The pin vice, although not used yet, looks okay and the jaws close completely tight. Overall, I'm quite satisfied but also a bit disappointed that the majority of drill bits are useless and the manufacturer should look into this.

The drill bits are tiny, ideal for my PCB work and as an added bonus, the chuck fits on my "100 in 1 Electric Engraving Pen, Engraving Tool Kit" that doesn't come with drill parts, only engravers and polishers.the handle fits nicely into my hand and has a free-spinning base end so you have more control in your palm.

This review is for the Linkstyle Mini Hand Drill Set with 20 bits (0.3mm to 1.6mm)that includes the pin vice with the Archimedes screw mechanism.The biggest issue with this drill set is (as many others have reported) the inclusion of drills that have never been ground to a cutting point - they have missed the final manufacturing step of creating the angled tip and cutting edges. In my case only the 5 largest drills had any attempt at a ground cutting tip - all the drills smaller than 1mm were completely unfinished with a square cut end and no cutting edges. This problem is either due to indifference about the quality of the product or a serious deficiency in quality control. Obviously I have no way to determine what percentage of supplied drill sets are being supplied in this condition - but it appears this is not just a one off poor set by the number of reports in the feedback.For the price I couldn't be bothered to return them - and chose to grind the required point and cutting edges on all the drill bits myself (not an easy task bearing in mind the very small size of the bits). It is unclear at this stage how long the drill bits will retain a cutting edge - but I suspect the quality of the steel is unlikely to be the best. These drill bits are only recommended for drilling into softer material so I doubt they are actually HSS rated as claimed.The second problem is that quoted drill bit sizes (for those smaller than 1mm) are at best "flexible" and at worst just incorrect. Most people will not have the equipment to accurately measure the diameter of drill bits smaller than 1mm - but a few other purchasers have also noted sizing issues. The 5 smallest drill bits are all essentially 0.5mm - so the 4 smallest sizes are incorrect - as they are quoted as 0.3, 0.35, 0.4, 0.45mm. The next largest bits should be 0.55, 0.6, 0.65mm - but they are all 0.584mm. And from there I have 3 pairs of bits measured as 0.711mm, 0.787mm, 0.889 rather than the quoted 0.7, 0.75, 0.8, 0.85, 0.9, 0.95mm. This appears to be a deliberate simplification of the supplied sizes to reduce the production costs - with only 12 sizes supplied rather than 20 different sizes. So if you want an accurate set of miniature drill bits this is not the product for you - even if you were prepared to grind cutting points on the majority of the drill bits before they can be used.

I purchased this to repair a watch strap which had failed. The drills were required to drill through JB-Weld I used to reform the receptacle for the watch pin to sit in.The drill bits work nicely; the main drill handle has a grippy texture which makes it easy to hold on to while using and the weird clampy thing is good if you need to hold something still whilst drilling.I hope I don't need to buy them again but they are quite thin and I suspect I will lose them in the garage. That's not a fault of the drill bits, more a fault of my organisation. Would I recommend these? Yes, if you need to do a number of little holes; they represent good value for money and are easy to use.

Lo strumento per noi modellisti e molto pratico e funzionale, però a mio vedere farei delle piccole modifiche al set delle punte in dotazione, innanzi tutto le più piccole da 0.5 a 0.9 il set dovrebbe essere di N° 6 per misura (sono molto fragili e si rompono facilmente). Dalla punta 1.0 alla 1.8 come set direi 2 per misura, poi metterei le punte da 2.3 - 2.8 N°1 per misura. Le punte 2.0-2.5-3.0 non sono necessarie visto che si trovano facilmente in commercio.

Il taglio delle punte anno una buona rifinitura
