It was not quite as easy to install without anyone to help me do it. It could be different for other vehicles, but you have to fish a u-bolt through two little holes with this one while supporting the weight of the hitch with your other arm and then get the two nuts started on the u-bolt without dropping the hitch on your head. I would say that this should have been a two or three person job and then it would be relatively simple. Recruit a friend to help hold it up while you are under the car connecting the nuts and bolts. I've checked a few others but they required cutting the bumper, I mean who would want to do that to their vehicle. This came nicely packaged and was so easy, I installed it in 34 minutes flat. It was easy for me because I had access to a lift and all the tools needed. But for anyone else it shouldn't be that hard. It's a simple bolt on and there's a YouTube video available with DETAILED instructions. Look that up before you take on this job.
