Color match and easy to use

Used for a tailgate on a 97 tj. Matched close enough to not be able to tell without looking for it. Good enough for my trail jeep

This was my first time ever painting auto. I have an old red 1994 Jeep YJ Wrangler With paint code PR4. This Duplicolor paint seem to match up very well as you can in my photos. You can see I only painted the door. I also used Eastwood clearcoat 2K to finish. I had one can that gave me trouble similar to other reviews. It’s splattered and did not come out of the spout but out of the top of the can I did not prep my metal as good as I should have, but that is not the paints fault, the color matches perfectly. It’s up to the person applying it to make sure that it is smooth. East door used about two cans, but I had an extra just in case which I ended up using when the one can gave me trouble.

Spray pattern is fairly even, slight delay for a full spread when starting.Make sure base color is correct to get best final color match.

This paint is horrible. The nozzle turns to do a vertical or horizontal spray pattern. Well it doesn't matter which one you do. It will shoot down into the can and then overflow and fall all over your auto body panels. It leaked all over my garage floor. I wouldn't recommend this paint at all. I recommend buying a quart of paint and a spray gun and going that route. That route ended up saving me from this mess of a paint job.

Paint is to thin and does not give good coverage. But the color is spot on.
