The item came in a smart box, carefully packaged
Bought this powerpack for a holiday but will definitely be using it past that point. The item came in a smart box, carefully packaged. One of the main reasons I purchased this model was the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and high capacity it stores. I've so far used it to charge my Galaxy S8 Edge, S8 and an iPad Pro and it copes without a problem. The battery percentage display is a great feature for telling you exactly the power left in the bank and one invaluable for telling if you have enough charge before going out.It came with a short USB to micro USB cable for charging the bank and for using to charge a device with micro USB and a nice grey travel pouch. The power bank has a soft. somewhat velvetty feel but be aware it shows greasy fingerprints easily. Easy to clean off but worth being aware of if you have little fingers around. The power bank is about 18cm x 2cm x 8cm and is fairly heavy, but this was fine as I knew it would be due to the capacity of the bank. The quick charge is brilliant and while we were away charged our phones quicker the the foreign sockets were giving through our fast chargers. It does take a while to charge and I generally did this overnight so I cant comment exactly how long it takes. In the few weeks I have had this charger, it works very well, including the Quick Charge feature, and has a high quality look and feel, but it's too soon to tell whether it will last. The display showing the percentage of charge remaining is especially useful - it's hard to see why other brands don't provide the same facility. It's quite sizeable, and weighty - too big to carry comfortably in a pocket, for example - but that's to be expected given the high capacity. I would definitely recommend this, so long as capacity is more of a priority than easy portability.

Good capacity Battery with decent fail safe features and 4 charge ports.
It’s quite a big battery due to the capacity being 20000mAh. It feels like 1.5 times heavier than my iphone8 plus with its case on. I ran a test with it straight from the box and charge times were as expected from a battery of this size (remember the battery wasn’t at optimum performance). The max current is 2.1A 5V so don’t expect it to charge faster than a normal wall-socket charger. It took 2-3 hours to fully charge my iPhone 8 (2850mAh) plus to 100%. Do not think this is bad results, as I should really have discharged and fully charged it a few times before doing the test properly. I only wanted to make sure it was working so these tests were just to see how the battery worked. The built in safety feature should prevent it from overheating/overcharging as it seems to turn off the charging once the phone is fully charged. You can check the power level of the battery by clicking the power button on the side, and a double click activates the side torch.Overall I think it’s a decent battery pack and suitable for people with more than one device to charge on the go, or when on holiday. When working at optimum performance, I would expect to be able to charge my phone at least 8-8 times on one full charge. If there was any improvement to be made, would be to have a nice carry case/pouch to protect when in transit.

How did I manage without this?!
A few reviewers have complained about the size and weight of the kappet but I actually think that it is surprisingly compact and lightweight for a power bank of this calibre. It will easily fit into a modestly sized hand or messenger bag, it even managed to fit into my coat pocket along with my 5.5" inch screened smartphone, it's thicker than most phones but the footprint is probably no bigger than the average 8" inch phablet. As a charger the kappet is excellent, in fact it's better at charging my phone than my AC wall charger and the absolute winning function is that it actually has a Qualcomm Quickcharge 3.0 input as well as an output. So you can actually rapid charge the kappet - a godsend for such a high capacity power bank.Since collecting it this afternoon from my local Amazon locker I've used it to burst charge my phone twice for no longer than 15 minutes a time (it was fully charged out of the box). I used it to charge my new Beeline digital compass from dead to about 85% so I could set it up.The thing that amazes me is the kappet's ability to quick charge a phone even when using it - after charging the Beeline compass I sat in a coffee shop in a train station to type this review, I started with 25% on my phone, screen on, streaming music to my bluetooth headphones continuously, by the time I finished my phone was fully charged - the power bank was down to 88% - there's just loads of power on tap! This is a serious heavy duty charger that I'll never leave my house without if I can help it - forget those weedy little trickle charger power banks the kappet will eclipse them!Amazing product, absolute value for money!

So much power in a small package
Thus far this portable power bank has proven an excellent addition to my everyday life, especially for work as I'm required to carry and always answer my business phone, as well as having a personal phone, and this power bank has enough battery power to easily charge them both simultaneously. I can go for about a week at a time without having to recharge it. It is relatively heavy at g, so although it is a tiny bit heavier than I expected, it isn't a deal breaker by any means. I don't carry a purse, but it fits in the storage pocket of my laptop bag and I don't notice the extra weight. The power bank also features a LED torch light built in that is switched on and off by two quick successive pushes of the power button. It’s not that bright, but I can see how it might be handy in an emergency and it functions well enough to get around a dark room, and will stay on until you double click the power button to turn it off again. The only downside with this is that when the time comes to recharge the power bank itself it does take quite some time but as long as you remember to charge it overnight at least once a week it will easily provide enough power to keep your phone and other devices going throughout the week.Overall and taking everything in to consideration this power bank is ideal for anyone that has ever worried about not having access to a power source while on the go or just simply wants one multi-functional charger for topping up all their devices.
