excellent books
we just spent 10 days hiking in and around Moab (arches and canyonlands). I originally bought two books: this and the Fodor's Utah: with Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Capitol Reef & Canyonlands National. the latter is poorly written. This book was perfect: accurate estimate of the length and difficulties of the trails, great recommendations regarding trails (bowtie and corona arches were a hit), good review of restaurants (thai arches was highlighted but we ended up going to Thai Bella and it was delicious)

Very helpful
Very glad we had this book with us. There is no internet out there and we would have missed stuff without it.

Covers ALL the southern Utah national parks.
Don't let the little image of the cover fool you into thinking this is just for Zion and Bryce, which initially I did. Glad I looked at it again. MOON guides are awesome, and I have several. I do have to say, though, the maps would be WAY easier to use if the roads were not light yellow on a light green background--you can hardly make them out. Attention, MOON! PLEASE HIRE ANOTHER MAP DESIGNER!

Great guide
This is excellent, easy to follow and helpful. I liked nearly all the hikes it recommended. A lot has changed since 2019, so double check everything online.

Just okay
Decent book. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Printing is a little small and even with my glasses was difficult to read sometimes

Great trip guide
Good book. Lots of good local info that would be hard to find with Google. I was trying to plan a 3 week trip to Utah and was having alot of trouble just using Google but this travel guide put me on the right track. Thanks!

Very Comprehensive Review of Utah National Parks and Federal Land
I'm planning a trip to the 5 national parks in Utah, and bought this book to get a little smart. It is a really comprehensive review of not only the national parks, but also the other federally-owned land and surrounding areas. It is easy to ready, well-organized, and just the right depth of review. The print is a little on the small side, but very readable.
